Hello all!!!

I am New here .. I had RNY 12-17-07 and did great lost 130lbs Started this journey at 288 (I'm 5'2) and I am now between 158-163 depends on the day.  I really want to get back on track and lost those last 20-30lbs to meet my goal.

Things are a bit harder now that I am not living in the states anymore.  I no longer have easy access to protein powder and try to make that up with eating more protein filled meals.   I do okay for breakfast and lunch but the time between lunch and dinner I lose it and have a carb feast!!!!!

Any Ideas to help me get back on track would be great!!!

BTW I do 3/4 days a week of cardio for 1.5 :-)

Thanks in Advance ..

Hi, Eleni:

Have you considered ordering your protein online and having it shipped to you?  You didn't say where you are, but a lot internet companies will ship to FPO and APO addresses.  Just an idea!

Aside from that, you are doing well if you are focusing on your protein intake through food...always a great way to go.  Maybe in the afternoon you can make sure you focus on fluids to keep yourself feeling full so you can make sure you stay away from carbs are able to get the protein in at dinner.

I hope that is of some help!  :)

Writing down what i eat is the key for me. I dont always do it and it shows on the scale be honest and do it for a week and see what happens.

Hi Eleni

welcome to the board.  Where abouts are you living now?  I'm in the UK and it makes it more difficult not getting hold of the protein powder easily - I know what you mean abour carb fests!!!

Do you think you are hungry when the carb craving**** or is it planning better snacks or what?  Sometimes when we figure out the reason for poor choices it makes it easier to find a solution.

Look forward to getting to know you now you are here
