Day 3 of the 5 Day Pouch Test

Hi everyone,

Sorry I am late again but I seem to be busy or something. I hope everyone is doing great!

Today I had a protein shake made with chocolate Pro5 protein. I used water. This stuff is so tasty, you don't need milk but some days I use Calorie Countdown Chocolate drink mix.

A TON of water and for dinner, my husband insisted on eating dinner out, so I ordered 2 scrambled eggs. Ugh... it was too much.

As of this morning, I am down 9 pounds from Monday morning. Some of it may be water weight but I do take a HTCZ every day to help with the fluid retention I have on my left eye, so... BUT whatever the pounds are, they are gone.

Good Morning,

 

I was excited! It is a good way to get back on track that's for sure and kill that urge for bad carbs. I have done this before. I need to keep with it this time and not be such an emotional/stress eater. I am worth it. Have a great day!

I forget what the 5 day pouch test is, do you have a link?  Sounds like it's something I need - bad carbs are evil :)

9 pounds is 9 pounds - even if it's water!  Good job

I love the site. A lot of support and just nice folks. It seems like there is a lot to read but it gives you an interesting perspective of the pouch. There are great recipes too that are so good you don't even have to be doing the "test" to enjoy them
