Monday - BOTT Cafe & Cardio
Hi BOTTers,
It is going to be a long day today as I woke up at 4:00 this morning. I don't sleep very well and haven't for a long time. I've tried everything. A contributing factor is the issue with my herniated disc in my neck. I have a follow-up appointment with my pain management doctor next month to start a series of epidural steroid injections that will hopefully help. I had them about a year ago so I hope that will help.
Here's my check-in for today:

Jalapeno Mustard Pretzels

Cathy - I'm so sorry you have a pain in the neck - perhaps it's better to have one than to be one, but I'm not sure???? LOL One thing I am sure about - you ARE NOT a pain in the neck!!!
This is countdown to our granddaughter's wedding Saturday. I love her so much. From now until then my life is going to be a little chaotic. I am promising 100% compliant BOTT food days, with exercise as I can/will squeeze it in. It will be mostly walking relatively short distances and climbing up and down stairs.
Here's my food for today:
B - Cottage cheese delight - 160 cal
1 bottle Health Wise choc drink - 80 cal
S - Bariatrix choc soy snacks - 150 cal
L - 3 + 1 salad blend - 58 cal
Hormel White & Dark turkey - 35 cal
1 bottle H W choc drink - 80 cal
S - Bariatrix Creamy Fudge Divine bar - 150 cal
D - 1 meal H W beef stroganof w noodles - 200 cal
1/2 packet Bariatrix cream of tom soup - 40 cal
1/2 can Del Monte organic dices tom plain - 44 cal
1106 cal 81g carb 142g protein

It has been hard to follow a good eating plan this past week. But when I stepped on the scale this morning I was happy to see that I had not gained. Someone upstairs likes me ;). Will start Botting again today with:
Breakfast - fage w/h.l. fit granola
Snack - click!
Lunch - marinated chicken w/roasted peppers
Snack - lean dessert protein shake
Dinner - pork chop w/grilled veggies
Snack - fage w/sf caramel
I will be working out this afternoon 30 min elliptical and 30 treadmill plus lifting weight.

Good Morning! Sorry to hear you are having trouble sleeping Cathy, I hope they have some answers for you at your doctors appt next month. We were up all night with lightining and thunder that shook the windows all night. My check-in:

I thought I completely fell off the BOTT wagon this weekend , but realized I only had my legs dangling over the side. This morning when I stepped on the scale, I had gone down another pound. Seems like the new meal plan is working better than the old one did.

45 min weight training

Latte w/Skim & splenda
1/2 cup Kashi GoLean & Dannon Light & Fit Yogurt
Hormel Compleats Beef and Gravy over Mashed Taters
1oz 2% cheddar Cheese and 11 Wheat Thin Artisan Crackers
1 Click Protein Shake
4oz Grilled Chicken & 1/2 c whole grain Sante Fe Rice (only got half of it in and was full so I'll save the rest for tomorrow)
Calories 1225 Fat 28g Carbs 139g Fiber 14g Protein 97g (a little less due to half the dinner about 130 cal)
Off to pick up my daughter - hope everyone had a wonderful Monday!!
