Hello all...  I am usually a lurker and every once in awhile I post.  I started out at 375lbs in dec 05. Had surgery 7-27-06 I managed to get down to 195 (9-07) got pregnant (while on BC) with my daughter who is now 13 mo old... I have managed to put on 65lbs since my lowest weight Sept. 07... With the help of all of you guys I have dropped 5 lbs and started getting back to basics....So heres my suggestion... I am lookin for a buddy or few to go at the 5 pouch test again. The last time I tried it I made it to day 3 and well..we all know how evil that carb monster can be. It really did help me out. So if you are interested in giving it a shot with me I have already started preparing my sf jello and crystal light. Maybe we can add some posts to the weigh in discussion.

Hi,
I have just joined and would like to more know about this5 day pouch test.
i am 3 yrs post op and am finding that I am gaining a little at a time. So far I have
gained about 20 lbs. and don't want to go any further.  Can you tell me what this
test is supposed to do, I might be willing to try this if it will help.

Thanks

"This is the 5-day plan that I have developed and used to determine if my pouch is working and return to that tight newbie feeling. And a bonus to this plan, it helps one get back to the basics of the weight loss surgery diet and it triggers weight loss. Also, it is not difficult to follow and if you are in a stage of carb-cycling it will break this pattern."

Hi Jessica,

I'm in. There are a lot of recipes that help you get through the first couple of days like the pumpkin & sausage soup. I heard it was delicious. I will start with you tomorrow and am looking forward to hearing how your day went.
