Sunday - BOTT Cafe & Cardio

Hi BOTTers,

Tonight is the big birthday sleepover for my newly 11 year old.  Next Saturday is my teenage son's birthday so we're just in birthday party mode now and up until this weekend.  My teenage son, Zack, is driving me bonkers wanting his birthday presents early.  Isn't it interesting how they want to be treated their age (and older) when they still act like little kids in wanting their presents early.  I told him that I had to wait for him to be born so he has to wait for his presents!  Ha.....I got him on that one!

Here's my check-in for Sunday:

CARDIO:  Treadmill

FOOD:

Southwestern Egg Beaters
Cottage cheese
Onion soup with side of chicken
Jalapeno Mustard Pretzels
Cinnamon Toast Pretzels
Turkey sandwich
Power Crunch bar

Have a sensational Sunday as we BOTT - BOTT POWER!

Good morning, Cathy and all the rest of you BOTTers.  You set me to thinking - we're kind of like Zack - we really want to lose our weight - all of it - overnight and if we can't do that, we want it to be effortless.  I feel sorry for folks whose birthdays are in the summer - mine's the 14th of December and I love it.  As a kid, I only had to be conerned about "being good" two weeks out of the year - that took care of my birthday and Christmas.  LOL

Well, was I in for a surprise when I jumped on the scales this morning - a FINE suprise!!!!   I was down 2 whole pounds.  Have no more explanation for this than for when I gain (but I sure like losing a lot better than gaining )  So, decided I'd get up and walk early this morning before I could talk myself out of it.  I am back from a 2 mile walk - went before I ate breakfast.  I usually like to have some protein before I go out early, but wasn't going to give myself a chance to wiggle off the hook and make us some excuse - no reason - just an excuse.  It worked    Only 3 pounds to go.

So - here's my plan for the day:

FOOD:
B - 2 eggs - 140 cal
1 tbs Winn Dixie Real bacon bits - 25 cal (but salty)
S  - 1 bag Annie's choc chip bunny grahams
L -  My chili - 350 cal
1 bottle Health Wise Vanilla shake - 80 cal
S -  1 bag Stella D'Oro breakfast treats - 100 cal
D -  1 meal Health Wise Pasta Figioli - 200 cal
3 oz Broccoli Cole slaw - 25 cal
Waldon Farms 1000 Island dressing - 0 cal
         1/2 My asparagus soup - 40 cal

1100 cal     127g carb     81g protein

EXERCISE:
In addition to my walk this morning, I'll climb down and up 6 flights of stairs.

Here's to a joyous BOTT day

So much for my Thursday resolution for posting daily...hhmmm.  Have to work on that this week.

Today's plan:

BKFST:  vitatop and 1 JD sausage
Snack:  moz. cheese
Lunch/Dinner;  chili and a salad
Snack 2:  Atkins DayBreak bar and 1/2 Isopure zerocarb
Snack 3:  cantalope and blueberries (maybe a yogurt)

I plan a meeting with Jillian later for circuit training.

Company is coming tomorrow so I am planning the menu for the week.  This is one of those dicey times when I want to "entertain" the company but I also want to stick to my plan.

Jessica - Do you know about PB2 peanut butter powder?  Very tasty with fewer calories and a lot less fat than regular peanut butter - you may not need this, but thought I's just pass along the info in case it could be helpful
