Back On Track Together

I've Been Bad...

I had to fast last night for blood work this morning and when I was done I went to McDonalds for breakfast, ate 1/2 of a sausage & egg McMuffin and I just had to own up to it and say it tasted fabulous and I loved every bite of it!

Sorry, I know this is the BOTT group but I needed some accountability.

I am back on track now eating my turkey and swiss on a low carb wrap for lunch. I hope everyone has a great weekend, get outstide and enjoy the summer weather before school starts up again.

Jennifer,

That's why we're here, accountability. The awesome thing is that you're not throwing the whole day away. In the past, I would've said to heck with it and eaten everything I'm not supposed to. Here's to getting back on track after a minor setback.

Actually, Jennifer I would say you've been human NOT bad.  Humans aren't perfect and that's OK.     The important thing isn't that you got OFF track but that you immediately got BACK ON track  I'm proud of you

Isn't it great to have someplace to come and "confess" and know that we will be understood, accepted and cared about.       I don't know what I'd do without this site

Hope your weekend will be a fun one

hey Jennifer

you made a poor choice - that doesn't make you bad.  Actually I was going to congratulate you on stopping after eating only half - well done on not eating the whole thing AND for getting back on track straight away.

You got right back in the saddle!  That is fantastic!  Forget about the McMuffin, and continue on the right road and you are going to be just fine.  :)

You are not bad.  You made a food choice that wasn't good for you.   You immediately got back on track.  Good work!!
