Hi BOTTers,

I had a nice weekend.  It was a mix of working on an exciting project that is a great addition to our Health Tracked plus spending some family time.  For some reason that I couldn't really determine I had some pretty major head hunger yesterday.  I rode out the head hunger wave successfully and didn't crash and burn - yeah!

Here's my check-in for today:

CARDIO:  Either walk on my treadmill or Walk & Kick dvd

FOOD:

Cottage cheese
Veggie strips
CLICK (1 scoop for 1/2 serving)
Chicken salad with light Miracle Whip, celery, relish
Cottage cheese
Jalapeno Mustard Pretzels
Cinnamon Toast Pretzels
Power Crunch bar

Have a marvelous Monday as we BOTT.  There are strength in numbers.  I get so much support knowing we're doing this together.

I, too, had a fine weekend.  Did some shopping yesterday as I walked my two miles at the outlet mall.  It looked rainy so braved the traffic and drove to the mall because the sidewalk has a roof over it.  The weather was pleasant - not scortching hot as it has been.

Had a fine lesson in what is my job and what isn't - Yesterday all conditions were positive for a loss (good elimination, good thinking, good food, good exercise, weighed later that during the week) but had a gain.  This morning it was a mixed bag (poor elimination, good thinking, good food, good exercise, but weighed earlier) and I had a loss.  Reinforcing I need to attend to the things I can control and just go along for the ride on what I can't control - the scales.

I promise a good BOTT thinking, eating, exercise day today.

Thank you for sharing my up and down journey to my goal weight - less than 7 pounds to go.

Hi Cathy & fellow BOTT'ers:

I'm 2-1/2 years out and feel better, but still alarmed that I'm putting it back on. Last year at surgeon's office I had lost 100% of the excess weight, but am slowly gaining. Right now I'm up about 8 lbs and feel depressed and scared that I'm going to go back where I was, a size 22. I'm supposed to go back for a check up at surgeon's but don't want to face the music that I've gained and am failing. Anyone else feel like this?

I've worked on a church fund raiser for the last two weeks (actually longer) and I've lost 2 lbs but that can go back on quickly. How do you handle the munchies and sliders?

Hugs,
Rudie2

Hello BOTT,

I'm back after being out of commission for about a week.  My computer at home was SICK, and internet time here at work was limited. Glad you're back on track, Dreamgirl!!!!  Those oatmeal raisin cookies have no mercy when they decide to attack   I finally stopped telling myself I could handle them with ease and just don't buy them anymore.  Have to be careful though when I pass them on the shelf - they are just lurking there  waiting to jump into my cart (or in the South, it's "my buggy")
