I have found a few I like:

Unjury (all of the flavors) - you can get it at www.unjury.com

Nectar -- I get it from www.netrition.com (I have tried Fuzzy Navel and Roadside Lemonade...both are good, but they have a bunch of flavors)

Ispoure -- the bottles are high in protein, and come in many flavors.  You can get them at www.vitaminshoppe.com or in one of their stores

Muscle Milk Light -- I prefer chocolate.  You can get them by the case at Costco and can usually find it at GNC or Vitamin Shoppe as well.  My local grocery store has started carrying it as well!

I hope this is of some help.  :)

Glad you had some suggestions cuz I kinda got away from protein for a while and I want to try some of those you suggested. I have heard Muscle milk is very good. Need some Vanilla for my stash so gonna try Unjury I think .

Protein is going to have calories - don't knowhow many calories you are eating in carbs but you may have to cut back there as protein is VITAL to maintaining our life.  The most important thing is to first have at least 60 grams of protein and 60 oz of  water (or Crystal Lite) every day - then low carb foods after that.

My favorite protein is Unjury @ unjury.com.  It's 100 calories for 20 grams of protein.

Isopure happened to be that one food I liked before surgery and don't like at all since, but that's just a quirk of the surgery.  It is available at GNC here.

Hi,

I found a great protein powder called Pro5 by Nu-Tek. It comes in Chocolate, Vanilla, Strawberry, Banana, Cookies & Cream, Mocha Cappuccino and Orange 50/50 Bar. I have tried the chocolate & banana. It is yummy! Even my 12 year old daughter loves it. It is so good that you can just mix it with water. If you go to their website you can find a retailer near you. Ask them for a sample before you buy it.

My favorites have already been mentioned, but I'll list them here again.

For a sweet fix, I love the Muscle Milk Light in chocolate.  Instead of the suggested serving of 2 scoops in 8 oz water, I mix 1 scoop in 12 oz skim milk.  It gives me 26 grams of protein for 220 calories and tastes like a really rich chocolate milk.  I mix it in a little mini-blender/smoothie maker.

I also tried making a paste with 1 scoop of the MML chocolate and some milk, then adding it to warm milk for a hot chocolate.  It wasn't perfect, but the idea was good.  I just need to get the consistancy down better.

When I want something salty and warm, I love the Unjury chicken soup flavor.  I mix it with warm water, but you can mix it with chicken broth for added flavor.

When I want something fruity, I like the Isopure ready to drink bottles.  I love the red one (Alpine punch I think).  They taste like gatorade to me and are very low calorie.

Don't forget things like cottage cheese, canned tuna, and eggs.  I made a chart that compared all the high protein things I consume and rated them on calories per 4 oz serving.  Canned- shredded chicken and tuna were a the top as far as delivering more protein for less calories.

Good luck finding something that works.
