Saturday - BOTT Cafe & Cardio

Hi BOTTers,

I'm going to be working very late tonight on a very important project for work.  I'm on a high from working on it and I have a busy errand day tomorrow plus continuing to work on the project.  I'm going to post my check-in for Saturday here with all of you now.

CARDIO:  Weather is going to be beautiful - take a walk outside with family.

FOOD:

Southwestern Egg Beaters
Turkey Sandwich with honey mustard
Cinnamon Toast Pretzels
Jalapano Mustard Pretzels
Tilapia with green beans
Power Crunch bar

Good morning Botters!
It's winter in July here in Chicagoland!  High today of 65!!!  I'll be hitting the gym later this afternoon.  My food for today:
Breakfast - Muffin in a minute w/blueberries
Snack - Click!
Lunch - Low carb/fat chicken quesadellia
Snack - fruit
Dinner - Pot roast w/veggies
Snack - Fage w/sf caramel

Here's to another BOTT day!!!

I didn't sleep very well last night and decided to stop at Starbucks on my way to work this morning. As I turned in, I saw it was completely packed. I took that as a sign I wasn't supposed to drink my calories today, lol.

Cardio: Stationary bike 5.5 miles COMPLETED!!!
            Walking outside enjoying decent temps 40-mins

Cafe:
B ~ Protein Drink
L ~ homemade low carb turkey wrap
S ~ apple w/1 oz colby-jack cheese
D ~ Protein drink, lasagna w/1 c veggies (going to eat more veggies than lasagna)
S ~ Peanuts and protein drink

I'm going to be enjoying a day of scrapbooking at my sisters after work, but am dedicated to a BOTT day!!

New way of thinking paid off - down to a new low (since mid-May).  Every day just reinforces it is not my job to control the scales - it is my job to think straigt, plan my exercise and food, and to carry out my plan.  Just that simple - that's all I have to do.  Whatever the scales do is what the scales do, when I make a healthy plan and follow it, I have done my part and, what's more, I need have no doubts I have done it RIGHT.  That makes such a difference in my comfort level. and when I'm comfortable emotionally, I find it so much easier to plan & carry out my plan because I'm thinking straight.  It's 99.99% between our ears..

Slept in this morning (there's something wrong with the world when 5:30 a.m. is sleeping in LOL) and found the sky to be overcast with a breeze.  So...quickly dressed, ate part of my planned breakfast so I'd have some protein in me, and went out and wlked two miles - not truly "brisk" but well beyond a stroll - maybe "semi-brisk"   Go out to walk inclued climbing down and up 6 flights of stairs.  Not sure what additonal exercise I'll choose to do later today - probably more stair climbing.  It has been so hot and humid here that walking outside was just not an option - so this morning's 79 degrees with a breeze was so enjoyable. 

Also promising a 100% compliant BOTT day.
