Back On Track Together
Doctor's Orders
Well, looks like it's going to be a little while before I try the pouch test. I talked to my doctor's office today to find out what they want me to do to help me get back on track. Although they didn't say that I "couldn't" do the pouch test, they want me to get back to a strict diet of mostly protein with some veggies and fruit. I've wondered away from most of the learned habits like not drinking a beverage with my meals, etc. and so I've got to kick back into the way I'm supposed to behave. I'm really excited about getting back on track again. I'll be starting on Monday. Giving myself the weekend to get my groceries and map out my menus. Just thought I'd share...

I know you are going to do great. I wish you well
Happy weekend
Hi Donna,
it sounds like you are heading in the right direction. Once you get on track and get into a routine everyday , it will be easier for you. take it one step at a time and you will get there. Get your motivation back on track as well. You need the motivation. to help push you. What I usually do is read women's health magazines read the message boards and have a workout buddy, you can push each other and give each other motivation. This helps me a lot. When you find your motivation..... that will push you through your hard workouts, and give you the dedication and determination that you need, and an eagerness to get the results that you want... AND guess what? YESSS.......THAT equals success!!!!! YOU can DO IT! Take it slow and one step at a time. BE patient , have control....and be kind to yourself.
Good luck :-)
Lizzy
Hugs & Kisses
Thanks to everyone for all of the encouragement, support and advice! I'm looking forward to getting started. I'm going to review the BOTT guidelines that Cathy posted, as Lizzy suggested (thank you!). I know that will help me tremendously.
Hope all of you have a wonderful weekend!
Donna :)
