Be kind to yourself

Happylapbander ...got me thinking - as she always does... lol.... So, I thought I'd share.....Here is a list of things to consider doing to - pamper yourself, be kind to yourself or to help you deal with stress, frustration or any negative life throws in your way.
- Practice forgiveness.
- Let go of old emotional baggage.
- Flush out negative thoughts.
- Let go of all your shoulds.
- Start a personal life journal.
- Put a “do not disturb’ sign on the bedroom or bathroom door.
- Do everything slower.
- Start a new hobby.
- Start a stress jar.
- Be spontaneous.
- See life through the eyes of a child.
- Get control of your life.
- Give yourself the gift of an hour a day.
- Discover a new author to read in the bookstore or library.
- Don’t answer the telephone when you are doing something else.
- Spend an hour a day listening to your favorite music.
- Release the expected and embrace the unexpected.
- Pass it on anything you receive, a smile, an e mail, a kind deed.
- Create a good stuff list.
- Count your blessings in writing.
- Say yes to everything that feels right.
- Say no to everything that feels wrong.
- Give yourself permission.
- Throw something away.
- Sing.
- Surround yourself with color.
- Laugh at everything.
- Do something special for someone else.
- Face all of your clocks to the wall.
- Simplify your life.
- Write a note to a special friend who you have not talked to in a while.
- Write yourself a “love letter."
- Put it off, whatever, until tomorrow or next week.
- Spend a day doing random acts of kindness for everyone you meet.
- Start a life-long wish list.
- Every day list 5 things that made the day - good - for you.
- Reward yourself with something special.
- See someone else’s faults as positive.
- Live in the present moment.
- Let go of all expectations of yourself and others.
- Don’t take yourself too seriously.
- Be optimistic.
- Be responsible to people but not for them.
- Listen to your inner urgings.
- Whatever you do, do it with love and passion.
- Be patient and trust the process of your life.
- See life as neutral without winners and losers - victims and persecutors.
- See those extra pounds you are carrying as stored energy waiting to be used.
- Create psychological anchors.
- Exercise and eat only nutritional foods.
- Practice smiling in the mirror.
- Choose wisely.

- Spend a day in the park, at the zoo, or anywhere other than your home.
- See pain, stress, anxiety as a warning and a gift.
- Go to the beach, lay in the sand and smell the salty fresh air. Do some breathing exercise.
