Tuesday - BOTT Cafe and Cardio

Hi BOTTers,

This is probably going to be a high alert day for emotional eating for me.  One of my huge triggers is being tired.  I've been up since 2:35 a.m.  I woke up and couldn't get back to sleep.  Whenever I'm tired, my radar goes up because I want to eat to feel better (??).  So, I'm committing today here with all of you that I will nurture myself when I get tired in ways other than turning to food.

Here's my check-in:

CARDIO:  Not sure, possibly taking day off.

FOOD:

Cottage cheese
Vegetable strips
Southwestern Egg Beaters
Jalapeno Mustard Pretzels
String Cheese
Cinnamon Toast Pretzels
Tilapia with green beans
Power Crunch Bar

Have a terrific Tuesday!!

Cathy

Cathy - Let the knowledge that you are loved and treasured by each and evry one of us be a portion of your nuturing today.   You give so much of yourself to us day by day, please accept this love offering from us today   Be kind and gentle, firm but kind and gentle, with yourself.

I'm so happy to report I reached a new low on my journey to goal since mid-May!    I have no idea why I lost today and have gained other days - but you can bet I'm not complaining   It's just a very good lesson (and one I need!!!!) that it is not my responsibility to lose weight, it is my responsibility to exercise and eat right.  Why is that such a hard lesson for me????   It's such an easy lesson on days like today, and such a challenge on days like yesterday.

Well, I'm off and running  on a busy day.  Never fear, wild horses couldn't pull me off of a 100% BOTT exercise and food day!  (At least not in the moment! LOL)  No, really, I commit to a 100% exercise and food day regardles of any challenges that might rear their ugly heads

WE CAN DO THIS TOGETHER - YES WE CAN (and YES WE ARE!!!!)

Peace and Joy to one and all

Good afternoon everyone,
I have been lurking for a while and have decided I need to post to keep myself accountable.  I am 7 years post op and have pretty much maintained with a flux of up tp 10 pounds.  Whenever I hit those ten pounds UP I freak.  Well... here I am.  :)
Cathy, you mention triggers and I have to say I totally understand.  I am an emotional eater and right now with the Californai economy I am stressed!  BUT, I want to jot down what I will do today to keep myself from EATING!

For breakfast I had oatmeal with craisins and banana.  I am currently working on a protein drink (Click!  Have you tried it? Delish, but I digress).

Lunch will probably be a piece of chicken and a bit of mashed potatos

Another protein drink

Dinner will be curry chicken w/rice.

I might have another protein drink, but I'm not sure.

For physical activity I signed up for a class today to try it out.  I will do that (cardio) for an hour and then walk onthe treadmill for 30 minutes.

Thank you Cathy for this additional tool to help keep me accountable to myself!
