Monday - BOTT Cafe & Cardio

Hi BOTTers,

When I'm tired, my head hunger is in full force.  We had a sleepover for my sons and a bunch of their friends.  I was so tired yesterday.  I tried to take a nap but I was so tired that I couldn't sleep....weird.  I really struggled with wanting to eat.  That has always been a trigger for me.  It is as though my brain wants to eat (junk) to feel better.  As all of us know, that doesn't work!! 

Here's my check-in for today:

CARDIO:  Either my treadmill or Walk & Kick dvd

FOOD:

Cottage cheese
Vegetable strips
Tilapia with green beans
Jalapeno Mustard Pretzels
Cinnamon Toast Pretzels
Grilled chicken with vegetable skewers
Power Crunch bar

Hi Cathy

Do you like to drink protein shakes at all? When I drink protein shakes, that usually helps with my appettite in between my meals and lots of water, so that i am not starving until my next meal. Try that and see if that helps.

cardio today - treadmil

My food:

B- 2 chicken breast strips and a peach
S- protein shake with a 1/2 banana
L- ham and cheese roll up with a pickle and 3 cubes of honey dew melon
S- protein drink with a 1/2 banana
D- chicken salad
S- protien shake

If I ever needed it, good proof this morning the scales are up and down without apparent rhyme or reason.  Now don't get me wrong, I'm glad they were down this morning, but there is no explanation I'm aware of as to why they were up Saturday and Sunday or down today - have eaten/exercised the same.  From here until goal weight (and most likely for the rest of my life LOL) the scales will just have to do their thing and I will do mine.  And mine is a 100% BOTT exercise and food day.

Well, the day is half-way over and my body bugg says that I've completed 100% of my workout... it's been that kind of day!  My food has been on the run:
Breakfast - Lean Dessert Protein shake w/banana  Yum!
Snack - Vinegar and Salt Almonds  (weird but so good!)
Lunch - Ricotta bake
Snack - Mini rice cakes
Dinner - Pork chop w/veggies
Snack - Protein ice cream

Boy I am late today to check in. We are getting ready to leave camping for 5 days. I am ready to a little relaxing, fishing and hiking.

Cardio: Not today
Food:

B-Low carb tortilla w/elk meat, refried beans & cheese
S-1/2 turkey sandwich, babybel light
L-Enchilada
S-1/2 turkey sandwich, babybel light
D-Tilapia, Broccoli

Hey everyone! Monday is almost over and I haven't yet made myself accountable for today's food on the post.

WEEKLY RESOLUTION: Purge all the bad distracter food from my house

CARDIO: Treadmill ~ 20 mins

CAFE:
B: Protein Drink and 1 Kashi GoLean Blueberry waffle (yum-o)
S: 1/4 c no salt sunflower seeds & Citrus Benefiber water add in
L: 1 Weigh****chers Fiesta Quesadilla
S: 3.5 ozs RF Colby Jack Cheese
D: Chicken & 1/2 cup sauteed mushrooms
S: Protein Drink

Hey HappyLap, I think I'm going to try and put your philosophy into place about the scale. I like the way you put it.

I'm late, but here is my menu for today. My eating was off and crazy, I didn't plan out my meal like I usually do.

CARDIO:  my own personal sleep over! 

My Menu:

EM - EAS Chocolate Protein Shake
B -    Meatballs w/ cottage cheese
S -    Dannon Yogurt Smoothie / 1 scoop Vanilla Protein
L -    Roasted Chicken w/ toasted salad
D -    Turkey Bacon & Spinach Quiche
S -    EAS Chocolate Shake or Cottage Cheese w/ SB Jam

Calories  1177   Fat  43.3g   Fiber  7.9g
Carbs  59.4g   Protein -  125.8g
