Hi, BOTTers.

I need help on starting Bariatric vitamins and a good place to purchase them. I was talking the Nature Made Multi-Vitamin Liquid Gels, but don't really feel like they were helping.

And and all suggestionsare appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi Michelle,
I don't know about the Bariatric vitamins...I've been using Centrum Chewables since my surgery. I also use Calcium Citrate Petites which I get from Wally World.  I get all my meds their at a resonable price.

I have tried a lot of different vitamins, to include some liquid vitamins, and I like the Bariatric Advantage brand the best of all.  You can get them at www.bariatricadvantage.com.  They are designed for bariatric patients, and are geared toward individual surgeries (i.e., some are for RNY, others for Band, etc.).   I hope that is of some help.  :)

Hi Cindy I went to the Bariatric Advantage website.  I just loaded up on vitamins, calcium & B-12, from Walmart, maybe next time I'll try the Bariatric meds.

Thanks so much to both of you for your suggestions. I'm going to check out the bariatric advantage website to see what I find.

My surgeon has his patients take 2 Flintstone complete chewable vitamins a day.  It's kind of fun munching little dinasaurs
