Pasta

For the 4th of July we had a full house at the summer cottage.  I always cook, because I love it!  To expedite things, I pre-cooked a lot of the salads at home and something made me think...  What could I do for me?  I could pre-cook a box of Dreamfields pasta for myself and freeze it in individual size servings.  When I wanted some "good" pasta salad, I took out a bag and put it in the fridge to thaw, I added olives, peppers, and mozarella cheese and mixed my own dressing and it was fantastic!!  I plan on making more individual bags of other types of pasta for when I want a little pasta, which isn't really all that often.  ciao.gif

Deb, that sound really good even though at almost three years post op I still have a hard time with pasta's, rice and potatoes.  Its been awhile since I've made an attempt I may give it a try.

I'd be interested in your dressing recipe.  I can't eat rice and I eat VERY LITTLE pasta, but I am looking for a good dressing.

I'm afraid that I don't use measuring tools.  I sprinkle garlic salt, seasoned salt, oregano, wine vinegar and olive oil.  I season to taste.
