Hi BOTTs,

I had a weird dream last night - I left my purse in my husband's car and it was stolen.  I was freaked because everything was gone such as money, credit cards, ATM, etc., etc.  I feel like I spent all night calling to cancel everything while the person(s) that took it were going on a spending spree.  I was chasing them all night long.  Geez, I'm glad I finally woke up!!  I'm sure all of that means something but I was happy to wake up.

Here's my check-in for today:

CARDIO:  Treadmill

FOOD:

Cottage cheese
Vegetable strips
Turkey sandwich on whole wheat bread with mustard
Cinnamon Toast Pretzels
Tilipia with green beans
Jalapeno Mustard Pretzels
Power Crunch Bar

Have a terrific Thursday as all of us BOTT.

Cathy

WOW!  Cathy - you are such an inspiration to me or maybe I should say a challenge.  Do you always plan your food for the day?  WOW!!  Imagine that - being prepared!!  How many calories, protein etc do you try to have.  And where do you get the cinnamon toast pretzels, Jalapeno Mustard Pretzels and Power Crunch bars??

I need to get back on track.  I went to my surgeon yesterday and they are going to schedule a scherotherphy but I still need to get in the right mind set!!!!!!!!!!!!

THANX!!!!

It was a rough night. My husband and daughters were fighting like cats and dogs and now my girls want to move out. I don't want them to move out in fear that they will just work to pay bills and not go to college as planned. End result was me skipping dinner, eating a sugar cookie and then having a hypoglycemic episode. I hope we can get things straightened out today. My check-in for today:

Cardio: Treadmill
Food:

B-Low carb wrap w/chicken, BBQ sauce & cheese
S-Dry roasted edamame & 1 Babybel Light
L-Albacore tuna w/Miracle Whip Light on WASA fibercrisps
S-1/2 turkey sandwich & 1 Babybel Light
D-Turkey Sloppy Joe on low carb wrap, broccoli w/hummus

Hope everyone has a great day, the weekend is almost here!

Jennifer - much as you'd like to, just know you can't get the world organized - I have a problem with that too.

What you can do, is take very good care of yourself.  You may still not be able to get the world organized, but the odds go up if you can think straight - and when we eat surgar, physiologically we just can't think as well.

Cathy - You know, somehow exercising on the treadmill seems timely for the dream you had last night.

Well, I'm back to my recent 3-day maintenance weight this morning.  Sure not where I want to be - but way better than weighing more than that amount.  It doesn't seem unreasonable to expect my body to shed those 8.4 pounds - I know - it's an opportunity to learn patience (not, of course, that I'd ever need to learn that lesson ) )

Just a bit of info - I plan my food at least three days ahead of time (on mydailyplate) - I sometimes change it two or three times before the day actually comes - but by using that site, I can change my mind as often as I like and I always know exactly what nutrition I'm getting.  There's no way I could get/stay on track without the planning.  If I ate the way I need to automatically, I wouldn't have needed bariatric surgery

So here's to a 100% BOTT exercise and food day

Hey, everyone!! With the crazy hectic day I had yesterday, I didn't get my cardio in, but I did get some chores done around the house. I didn't add in any workout cals, but kept my cal intake for what it would've been if I walked.

Cardio: day off

Food: (this is going to be hard since I have a b-day dinner tonight)

B: Champion Whey Protein Stack
S: Starbucks 5-shot grande 1 pump mocha ~ no whip (bad I know but I only indulge twice a month)
L: 3 ozs Louis Rich Turkey Sausage, 1/4 cup fried taters/onions (cooked in olive oil, no added salt), and 1/4 c saurkraut
D: Red Lobster 1/2 portion of the Half Grilled Salmon w/asparagus as a side.
S: Champion Whey Protein Stack

I am having a 1/2 BOTT day. I will NOT eat the yummy cheddar biscuits tonight at dinner or partake in the dessert. Also, I'm not going to be getting a potatoe/rice with my dinner.

I'm holding steady at 215 and still working on getting in ALL my 108 ozs of water a day.
