liquid "lasagna"
Since I am following a liquid diet with a cup of cottage cheese everyday, I wanted to have something to "eat" while my family was having spaghetti and home made garlic bread (which is one of my favorites). So, I warmed up my cottage cheese with just a few spoons (about 1/8 cup) of spaghetti sauce and a sprinkle of garlic powder. The spaghetti sauce had some sugar listed on the lable, but I used such a small amount that I was fine with it. It was actually really good. The cottage cheese melted a little and all together it tasted like the filling for lasagna. It was very good, but I was full before I finished the cup.
