WELL, NOW I'VE SEEN IT ALL

I'm not sure what it says about the economy - but, this morning when I passed a local McDonalds (think back in ancient history before surgery - it's a fast food place - golden arches - you remember lol) their sign out in front said DOUBLE DRIVE THRU LINES

Will wonders never cease?

Geez, as if one drive through wasn't enough!  Guess not.

Some of the McDonalds in my area have had double drive thru lines for quite a while. I found it quite unbelievable myself. All of the cars merge together in a line to pay for their meal. It's amazing how they have it down to a fine art. All part of the "fast" food thing I guess.

Speaking of McDonalds...I just saw the movie "Supersize Me". The movie has been out for a while but I rarely have time to sit down long enough to watch one and so I'm just getting around to seeing it. Wow! It definitely adds new meaning to "fast food". If you haven't seen it, you should check it out. It's a documentary about a very healthy guy who decides to perform an experiment and eat only McDonalds food for a month. His health goes straight down the tubes, almost to the point of having serious health issues. It's definitely good food for thought (no pun intended).
