Still here...

Hello fellow BOTTers. It has been a very eventful week at the Nale house. Between summer school, football, doctor and dentist appointments there has been little time for much else. Yesterday I had a doctors appointment and the ear infections that I got over 30 days ago ARE STILL HERE!!!! They put me on another 10 day cycle of high dose antibiotics. If this dosent work then I will have to see an ENT specialist. Oh well, I guess whatever is going to happen is going to happen.

What is everyone doing for the 4th? We are going to a friends farm. There will be a lot of people there. I cant wait until the BBQ and fireworks. Other than that I will be working and sleeping. Hope everyone has a great safe 4th of July.

Thanks for checking in, Wayne.  I get concerned when you aren't here for a few days.

Do you have to double your does of antibiotics because of your surgery?  I know we lapbanders absorb everyting we consume - just do it more slowly.  But you by-pass folks only absorb 60% of what you consume so I've been told you have to double the dosage of your meds.

Sure hope your antibiotics do the trick this time!!!  

Mostly just going to do nothing the 4th.  I can watch our fireworks from my condo walkway so don't have to get snarled up in traffic jams - that's really nice.  But it's such a luxury to have three days in a row when I don't have to set the alarm or be any place at any certain time!

I am sorry to hear you are still battling the ear infections.  I am keeping my fingers crossed that this round of antibiotics will do the trick for you!

It sounds like you have a nice 4th weekend ahead of you.  Here:  Family coming over for the 4th, then going to Great Falls for a picinic on Sunday (beautiful part of the Potomac River)....the weather is supposed to cooperate, so that should be great!
