Day 2

Went pretty well. Got a side salad from Wendy's with fat free french to tide me over through the afternoon. Not exactly protocol but it helped and wasn't too "sinful"... struggling tonight. Up later than usual, but really nothing in the house to get into. May have some cottage cheese and jello if I can't stand it... start soft proteins tomm. anyway and want to see if the scale dropped some more in the morning.

You're doing it! Hang in there and the pounds are bound to drop. You're doing REALLY well and don't beat yourself over a side salad, that's a great choice. If you find you can't handle the 5DPT just stick with the basics - lean protein, sensible carbs, lots of water, and vitamins and get a bit more exercise. You can do it!

You're braver then I am.  I hate being hungry.  Are you doing this to rediscover your pouch or see how big it is or what?  I don't understand the point.

Is it getting easier?

Mostly I am wanting to drop a few pounds quickly to inspire myself but also to see how my pouch reacts if I eat protein first. I do fill up pretty quickly so think it hasn't "stretched" too much. Grazing really is my biggest problem and eating slider carbs. I do wish I got full on 1/4 of a banana and such like I did right after surgery. Three bites would do it... now it is at least 3/4 cup depending on the texture.
