Wednesday, BOTT Cafe & Cardio

Hi BOTTers,

To everyone that read and especially responded to my post yesterday - thank you.  I was nervous about posting it.  My philosophy about our issues not being about food isn't as popular or embraced as I do personally.  For me, that is why I relapsed and regained weight.  I had worked on my outside in losing weight but keeping it off, for me, began when I worked on my insides - the issues I needed to work through. Once I did, I feel more confident about my weight loss and my life in general than I ever have before.  Again, thanks!

Here's my check-in for today:

CARDIO:  Treadmill

FOOD:

Cottage cheese
Turkey dipped in mustard
Vegetable strips
Cinnamon Toast Pretzels
Cottage cheese
Tilipia with green beans
Power Crunch bar

Have a wonderful Wednesday!

Cathy

Hi Fellow Botters!
We are almost done drying out our family room from the flooding last Friday.  I'm getting tired of living out of our bedroom!  I plan on working out later this afternoon and doing an extra bit for "the challange".  My food for today:
Breakfast - Lean dessert protein shake
Snack - almonds w/nectarine
Lunch - chicken wrap
Snack - apple w/pb2
Dinner - meatloaf w/veggies
Snack - mock rice pudding
Have a great day!

Good Morning! Cathy, I don't think you should every worry about how a post will be received. This group is for support and that is exactly what I see everyone receiving here. I finally got an appt with the doctor tomorrow to see why I am passing out, reactive hypoglycemia is my guess.

Cardio: Day off
Food:

B-Low carb tortilla w/refried beans & cheese
S-Dry roasted edamame
L-Tortellini w/chicken & alfredo
S-Muscle Milk Light
D-Chicken alfredo penne pasta
S-Light string cheese

1406 Calories, 116 Carbs (87 Net), 57 Fat, 110 Protein
I thought there was alot of carbs but not as bad as I thought once I logged it and fiber count was good since it is whole wheat pasta.

I hope everyone has a Happy Hump Day and the sun is shining where you are!

Well Deb with flooding and Jennifer passing out.... I really have no problems.
Sorry you are having troubles and hope all is well soon. I am feeling kinda funky this am.... low blood sugarish but just had shake and added powdered milk so had decent amount of carbs... maybe too much?
Day 2 of pouch test... thanks for your support with the jerky episode LOL.
More protein shakes, jello etc. today. Lost 3 pounds yesterday so that makes me feel good even though I know it comes back quickly if I am not careful.

heading to the gym for an hour elliptical shortly unless this funky feeling stays... I hate this feel like laying down.... almost "dumping" sensation. Maybe the shake was too much at once... it was pretty big with blended ice and I was HUNGRY and drinking kinda quick. Oh the compulsivity of it all!  Later, Lucy

Morning Cathy,

I did read it but I haven't yet responded because I really felt I needed to reflect on it a bit longer. I find it so very true, but I also find what Kathy responded with as also holding true to my situation. "Where do we start, how do we start, how do we keep to it?".... I'm still struggling on BOTTing, I want to be motivated. I really do. I am just trying to find that nitche that will help me get there.

Cardio - Get my steps in.

Food -
B - some chilli and cheese on a joseph's flax wrap
L - Something chicken-y with veggies
S - Seapoint Edamame and raw trail mix
D - Steak, string beans and taters or pasta-roni (Prolly skip the carby part)
