Back On Track Together
I hope this works
It seems for myself, I have to hit a bottom. That only when the extra food and consequences are more painful to me than doing what I should do will I make a change. I know I need to eat "mindfully", stop grazing, focus on protein, control portions, exercise, watch carbs etc etc.
Hope you find this board helpful and are able to get BOT too.

I think a lot of my problem in my head. I just get to busy with one thing and don't eat then I find that I finish what I am doing and then I get bored and start the eating.. all the wrong things. My down fall is ice cream.. I know I just eat right thru the day and stop the grazing all night..... I want to at least graze on healthy foods. Thats my first step... I quess when you on the bottom you can only start to go to the top...
When you figure out something to help you get on track, let us know. I have been sliding down a slippery slope for about 3 weeks now and it is scaring me. I had to get some fill taken out of my band and wow, what a difference. I don't get it back in until July 7 and I am a bit worried.

I'm almost done with day four. I know, not that long. I have done well for four days though. Not perfect as I still like a little sweet thing during the day, but I've recorded it. Seven pounds have come off in the four days, so that's encouraging.
This is what helped me and trust me when I say that the whole two years since I had my surgery, I never gave a thought to the "rules" or anything else involved. I did eat small portions, but didn't pay attention to if I was really hungry or if it was time for a snack or anything.
It helped me to realize that I do have Head Hunger and that I am in control of it. I basically get bored or want to escape reality for a few. I have also been having somewhat basic food and doing protein first, or at least getting enough during the day. This has really, really helped control any cravings and any hunger. It also has given me the total pouch feeling again.
I had a soft serve ice cream cone at the zoo today and 1/2 way through the top part, not even the cone, I was feeling full. Course I ate the whole thing as it cost $2.50, but it was a slow process and kept me full for hours.
I have been keeping totally busy this week getting stuff ready and listing it on eBay as I am broke and having the goal to make money helped keep my mind off it.
Get some protein bars for in a pinch. Big Lots has boxes of them for $3.00 here. They are tasty and fill me up.
You'll be fine!

Better Late then Never!
You can maybe start by doing the 5DPT and work from there. Read Cathy's Back on Track Information...I know it really helped me and go from their. None of us are perfect and we ALL fall off the wagon. The most important thing is not to whaler in our sorry but to get back up and try it again, and again...and again if necessary.
