 Hi,

This is a quick intro before I get into my issues.  I was Sleeved in Mexico by Dr. Joya in May of 2007. So just over two years ago.  I lost 90 pounds by the next year and then stalled.  I ended up around 185.  People were going nuts over me.  I was 199 this morning.  I never made it to my goal of 150 and well, you see the problem.  I have gain 15 or so pounds this winter.  MOST of them in the last 2 or 3 months.

I am not one that is good with details such as keeping track of calories.  I don't care what I eat and tend to gravitate towards easy things.  I have very managable hunger and was working out 2 to 3 times a week all winter for 30 minutes very vigorously.  Now I am not going to the Y anymore and have to pick up the slack by myself.  Not sure what to do.  More to follow in a non-introduction post.

Thanks and nice to meet you all,
Amy

Amy -- I'm so glad you chose to join us   I think you will find the folks her caring, supportive, accepting and helpful.  I have.

Unfortunately, there is no magic procedure.  Calories count exactly the same as they did before our surgeries - whatever the procedure.  There are still only three ways to loose weight - ****at fewer calories  (2) burn more calories by exercising and  (3) a combination of 1 & 2.  It is that combination that we must use FOREVER if we are to reach and maintain our goal weight.

You know what to do - now the question is do you want a healthy weight enough to work at achieving it?  Only you can answer that question and, by electing to be a part of BOTT you want it.  I celebrate with you your decision to go for it

You're off and running and we'll be with you every step of the way if you'll allow it

Have a fine BOTT food and exercise day - 5 minutes at a time.

Hi Amy!
Welcome to Bott.  You can lose this weight, but you will need to change a few things... Go back to eating protein first, no drinking with meals and get back to exercising.  Start posting your meals.  It is possible to get back on track.
You can do this!!cheer3od.gif
