Prayer please
I have recieved a few emails asking me where I have been lately. Since this had been a great place for support in my WLS journey, i figure it will be a good place to seek prayers for a part of my life that has made a reappearance the last couple of months.
7 years ago I was diagnosed as Bi-polar with severe deppression with anger, panic and anxiety attacks, Agoraphobia and PTSD. On the first of June I was hospitalized at the Phyc center here in Springfield. I have had approx. 17 hospitiliations in the past, but this is the first one in 4 years.
I posted a couple of weeks ago about how all I wanted to do was stay in bed and hide, well that was exactally what I had been doing. Because of insurance issues that began in the begginning of the year I was unable get the medicine I had been taking to help me cope with these issues. After 2 months my Dr prescribed meds that I could afford through Walmarts 4$ perscription plan. I have been taking these for about 4 months. Unfortunatly they do not work for me. I was able to switch to a better insurance that covers the meds I was taking before at the end of May. Before the medicine had a chance to build up in my system it became apparent that I needed more help than I could get as an outpatient. On June 1st I signed into the hospital. I was there for 1 week getting my medicines adjusted and meeting with Drs, counsolors and others who helped me through some difficult issues.
I am at hom now and feeling a lot better. During this whole process God has blessed me with a wonderful family that has been unwavering in thier support of me. I am also proud to report that through this I have lost a total of 33lbs since starting to BOTT. I am finally under the 400lb mark at 393. This is from my highest pre-surgery weight of almost 600lbs. GOD IS GOOD!!!!!

Wayne - I'm so glad you're back. - I missed you Since I'm a psychologist at a military base, I understand what you are saying. Thankfully you got the help (and the meds) you needed.

I've been out of town and recently returned so I'm getting caught up. I would have sent out a search party to find you! You're a BOTT and friend 100%!
I am so sorry to hear about your health and recent difficulty. I'm glad you're back and feeling better. I've worked with people that have bipolar and finding the right medications and dosages can be a challenge.
You have a wonderful family that I know gives you a constant source of support. You also have many friends that care including me.
