Hey Everyone

How is your summer going?  Mine has not arrived yet, it's been raining and cool here in IL and I am sending out a search party for sun, fun, and beach weather...  If you have some, share, please!!!

One of the biggest reasons I think we don't reach goal and or if we do don't stay there for very long is our body images.  We may weigh 125 lbs, but do we see 125 lbs in the mirror?  Do we have such bad body images it keeps us for being happy and reaching our life long dreams and goals?  Take a moment to think about this and if you think this may be an issue for you, here is a great article to help you get Back On Track with your Body Image....

Keep up the great job you all are doing and if you need anything this is the place to be!!  Cathy and I are here for you!

Take care,
The Other Kathy

Sorry we won't be able to get together this time   Had originally planned to be there with my daughter, but turns out she can't make it either so, as far as I know, I won't know anyone there - at least not at first.

Hi, Kathy:

Thank you for bringing this up and for the article.

I affectionately call this my "fat head."  Though I know I look different, I still don't see it to the degree others do.  It is funny how it works, isn't it?  I am looking forward to reading the article.  :)

me too - I know and see a difference, but not nearly as much as others see.  I still see fat, whereas others see 'normal' (whatever that is) and tell me so.

I'm off to read the article now...

Hi Kathy,

You are so right.  It takes a long time for our brains to catch up to our body.

Thanks for sharing this article.  It is fantastic.

Hugs, Cathy

Cathy
