Hi All

hope your week has gone well.  I've been super busy running around, which means I've got more exercise than normal seeing as I'm usually stuck behind a desk all week.

Last Week:  176
This Week:  173

Yay, 3 down.  I've managed to loose the weight I gained over the last two weeks.  Now to keep it going in that direction.

Have a great weekend.  "Seek to be sleek"

Hi, All:

As of this morning, I am the same as last Friday.  No complaints here...rather stay the same than move into gain territory!  :)

Have a good weekend!

Hello Botters :-),
Not doing so well here with my stats. I am journaling all my intakes and the numbers appear to be good...but good for what is more like the question. I just can't seem to shed any weight. I'm too good at the maintaining which sure is frustrating (but something we all realize from time to time). For some reason I'm having episodes of severe vertigo... not sure what's up with that... I'm wondering if it's low blood sugar from my low carb intake? Having to sit down during the vertigo is not a very calming thing to deal with. My last labs were right on and the A1C test was perfect...so I'm just not sure. All's I can do is keep trying to break the cycle of little to no weight loss.

Last Week: I didnt' post.... as there was no change 233/233 from my 5/22 post
This Week: I'm 231.8... so a loss of 1.2 lbs (I'll take it!!!)
Goal Weight by my Surgeon is : 145

Suggestions always appreciated ...
Kathy

It's so frustrating when the numbers don't go down isn't it.  BUT hang on to the fact that you are maintaining, and not gaining so well done you.  Not sure I'm able to give any advice as I've been stuck in the maintaining and not losing for way too long up til now.  I'll be interested to see what advice others give.

PLUS - YAY!!!!  Down 1.2 this week.  That's great.

Hmm...poor you with vertigo.  Have you seen yoru doc about it?  What are they recommending?  Hope you get it sorted soon.

See you next week.

Thanks for the support. I'll see what my doc says about the vertigo. I may contact the NUT and see what she says about my journaling and what suggestions they can offer. See you next friday for an update :-).

Kathy - My suggestion would be contact your surgeon and tell him what you are experiencing.  Whatever it is, seems to me, needs attention.  What ever it is may be the reason you're not losing right now - or, at the very least, a part of the reason.  Are you eating enough calories?  I found out I wasn't so I've increased to 1000/day (almost double what I was eating).  Your dr will know what you need to do.  Good luck

My surgeon keeps saying I'm eating to many calories. He says move more eat less. The NUT at his office increased my meals to 300 calories each with three 100 calorie snacks. I can eat much more than that and have to really watch and count everything I consume.( attaining the 1200 calories per day or pretty darn close)  Not sure how or why the vertigo is now appearing. I'm scheduled to see my surgeon on 7/13. Next step according to the NUT may be to do an endoscope to see why I can eat so much and struggle to stay away from fufilling hungar pains (and the grumbles are not head hungar). Somethings up but I'm just not sure what. Thanks for the support.
