New to the group..Need Support

I have found myself going through a tough time in my personal life; stressing about finances and turning to my ol friend none other than food....I really want to get back on track and lose the remaining 19 pounds to reach MY goal.  If there is anyone out here that can coach me along, I would be eternally greatful.  I don't want this tool I have been given to be a total waste.  HELP ME PLEASE!!!

Hello Tavia,
#1- Reaching out for help and coming to the support boards is the first step in helping yourself. You yourself said that you have the tool, now all you have to do is use it. 
#2 - Check out the Back to Basics Guidelines and Information.  Don't make the same mistake I did...read it, don't just skim over it.  Take your time and familiarize yourself with what's written in the guidelines.  You'll be surprised at how much information you have forgotten. 
#3 - Clean out your cabinets and refrigerator of  ALL TEMPTATIONS AND JUNK FOODS.
#4 - Go back to the Basics, keep a food journal, take your meds, exercise, drink your water, and love yourself.
#5 - Visit us here at BOTT, make your presence known, asks questions, no judgmental people here only support.  Don't lurk, jump in. 

Life is going to always throw you lemonssometimes you have to add your own sugar.  Pull up a chair and stay awhile, we like making new friends!  You are not alone!

Tavia - I'm so glad you have chosen to join us!   I hope you find this group as helpful as I do.  I truely believe I could not even come close to staying or getting back on track without them.  I call them angels in disguise as people. 

I have found them the most positive, supportive, accepting and caring people ever.  We all accept that we are human (some days we accept that better than others LOL) and that humans aren't perfect.  But we sure doin't have to run and hide when we get off track because we know that no one is going to put us down or even entertain the idea that getting off track makes us "scum of the earth" - without support and acceptance from others it is so easy to put ourselves down.

So again, welcome to the BOTT family.  WE CAN DO THIS TOGETHER, YES WE CAN!

Tavia, Welcome ! I am kinda new myself but find this group very helpful. Like anything you are going to get out what you put in. Do post often . Don't be a lurker. Jump in and join us. Most of all remember you are not alone. We are all here for a commond cause. Getting back on track. Some like me have gained. Others haven't reached goal yet but we will all get there. I learn so much from everyone and you can feel the understanding. I think we all are stress eaters. I know I am. I really eat when I am mad. How crazy is that ?  I will do a post on that one. Welcome Tavia,
I lately am coming here to be inspired as I seem to be floundering. Kinda just treading water at the moment. But that's ok... my burst of energy or inspiration will come and I will be sailing again. I read others are waking up feeling energetic and that has been a problem for me. I just drag out of bed. Not sure what that could be. Maybe need to get iron level check again. It was too high the last time so they cut me back. My food was a little better yesterday. Scale says 173 this morning so I am still 22 pounds up from my low. I am exercising again ... did 40 minutes on the elliptical yesterday and plan on that in a few minutes this morning. I love the sweat! I know I am working hard and melting fat. So anyway I am babbling... but hang in their and your time will come to get BOT. Lucy
