Bacon, toast and an egg.... wish I hadn't eaten it... didn't even taste good to me and this is my first step in awareness. Am thinking fresh fruit and cottage cheese would have been a whole lot better but I thought I wanted something that I don't normally eat. Don't miss it as much as I thought. But at least I ate at the table not standing up in the kitchen....l I know this is basic stuff folks but its where I am at right now. Hoping it will help someone else who may be sabotaging themselves the same way.
AWARENESS is my goal for the day. ... Conscious eating- not zoned out shove it in my mouth stuff.

Bacon ! One of my favorites ! I love the stuff. Don't let it ruin the rest of your day. I started out on the wrong track too. I had all intentions of getting up and cooking a nice omelete with salsa on top. One of my favorites. Started doing things around the house and had to run to PT. Before I knew it, it was 12:00. Had to stop at Dollar tree and they had WW Chocolate mouse cups. I was hungry so I ate one. 180 calories and only 7 grams of protein. I did give the 2nd one away. So here it goes:
B- WW Chocolate Mouse- bad choice
L- cottage cheese with strawberries/blueberries
s-banana
D- salad with baked chicken strips.
s-protein shake
All is not lost. I feel so happy and strong. I can do this. Yes I can ! After all " I'm Coming Out " See you lighter.

Today was a great day, I'm feeling well mentally and with the few pounds shedded, I am SO ready - lol. Wait I even think I lost some inches too but that could be my imagination but whatever, all I know is this feels GOOD.
B: cottage cheese and melon
L: a piece of grilled chicken with some chick peas
S: ranch soy crisp
d: snacked on some turkey pepperoni and cheese so I'm passing on dinner
s: a s/f ice pop
I know I haven't gotten in much exercise but I plan to start the couch 5k this week and my daughter agreeded to ride her bike along side me the first day.
Okay all, I'm headed to have my s/f ice pop and then headed to bed.

I have had an absolutely wretched two weeks. Modem got fried by a lighning strike - I was without internet which, of course, has my e-mail - I thought it was my computer - my computer guru was moving to Colorado and didn't have time to correct - finally called the Geek Squad and they determined it was not my computer but my modem - called Cox Communications and they came out that evening and did several things and restored my internet. Thankfully all my favorites and e-mail address were still there!! Meantime my support group's April meeting rolled around and I couldn't send out the notice (a few hearty souls showed up anyway and we had a marvelous time sharing with each other) I had no idea I was such an internet junkie!! Then just to throw in another stressor - for weeks we have been preparing for 3 audits and the past week and a half they actually happened. (We did quite well) But that meant tension was running high throughout the entire hospital. This also meant our computer use was watched like a hawk so I couldn't get to BOTT when I needed it most. Also couldn't get to My Daily Plate to know EXACTLY what I was eating and just to be sure I wasn't stress-deficient, I kept my promise not to weigh or use Wii to check my BMI How did I handle the stress? Three guess and the first two don't count. I "ate a horse and chased it's rider."
Yesterday, I am ever so happy to report, I had a perfect BOTT food and exercise day. Can't tell you what a relief that was!!!!!!! Today I have my food planned through lunch and will fit dinner into whatever calories I have left and what appeals to me at the time. Am not sure what my exercise will be other than climbing 7 flights of stairs.
I'm so glad to be back with all of you where I feel safe! You are the wind beneath my sails.
Have a wonderful BOTT day everyone. (I still have to cut way back on my personal use of the computer so won't be able to check in quite as often as I have been
