Liquid Diet?
Hello all I was wondering if anyone out there has done a liquid diet to lose weight after WLS (More than a year out, not right after) I am considering doing a liquid/full liquid diet for a while for two reasons: first to lose a little weight, and second to get my symptoms of hypoglycemia under control. I am needing to get away form the carbs, and get more protein in.
Anyways I would appreciate any info.

I did a liquid/full liquid diet during my mom's 2 week pre-op requirment with her, so she woudln't feel alone and totally challanged and we could talk each other through the hard times. I did lose 4 lbs, but it came back on once I went back to eating normally.
You might want to try something more along the lines of First Stage Adkins for both your reasons. Its a low sugar extremely high protein diet. I lost 4 lbs on that one and kept it off so far.
Good luck!

36 lbs from goal!
My doctor suggest a liquid diet if you go above your goal weight. He calls it a "Time Out" He suggests two protein drinks a day and a salad w/ spray salad dressing. Then once you get to goal anytime you go over a certain weight then you would do liquid until you get back to goal. It helps because I want to avoid time out - I hate liquid diet stage!
I recently went onto total slim fast. Was on just liquids for two weeks, but only having 2 or 3 a day. Didn't lose anything. Then changed to having 1 for breakfast, 1 for lunch and a small evening meal, and I've been losing. It has reduced my appetite, and I don't feel hungry, or get cravings which is what I was fighting before.
