Rob Nevins "Skinny Switch Secret"? I seen this on T.V. this a.m.

Rob Nevins' Skinny Switch Secret™

Burn fat fast, by eating only the foods you love. Join Now and you can be in a full size smaller by the end of next week! Here's how it works: Lose fat steadily and never plateau! Rob's three-day program works like this: On days one and two you eat...more food than you thought possible. On these two days, your body's fat is used as fuel and burned aggressively. Day three is a "load up" day that keeps your body from adjusting. You jumpstart your metabolism every time you repeat this three-day pattern. Your body's fat-burning ability is maximized for dramatic results! Turn your body into a fat burning machine! When you simply reduce calories or starve yourself, you could be burning muscle instead of fat. Muscle is "metabolically active tissue" that burns fat 24 hours a day. On Rob's plan, you'll eat exactly the right foods in the right combinations to feed your muscle and starve your fat. By following his program, you burn fat faster than when you started. Reach your ideal size fast. If you've dieted and seen a drop on the scale, but your clothes still fit the same - most likely you've just lost muscle, not fat. Rob Nevins' Skinny Switch Secret™ is designed to burn fat fast. And when you start losing the fat, you'll quickly see a huge difference in the way you look. Your customized plan targets the fat YOU want to lose using the foods YOU love! Rob Nevins' Skinny Switch Secret™ designs customized meals around your age, gender, current size and the foods you've chosen. Rob's plan is designed for you individually because one size does not fit all. Even if you weigh the same as someone else, you may need to eat differently in order to reach your goal. That's what makes your customized meal plan so effective and so easy to follow - it's yours and yours alone! Treating is encouraged so it's easy to stick with the plan! On Rob's plan, every third day you get to have any food you can't live without - pizza, ice cream, a glass of wine...you decide! Physiologically, your body will keep burning fat - and psychologically, you'll be happier! It's no-guilt "treating", not "cheating," and it's part of your fat-loss plan. Plus, you'll be eating more than you ever thought possible - every day. Flipping your Skinny Switch is a no-brainer! Everyone has the same fat-burning mechanism inside their bodies - it's what Rob calls the Skinny Switch. When you flip it, you continually jumpstart your metabolism for maximum, ongoing fat-burning. And that's the "Secret" of Rob's three-day eating pattern. All the work of creating a plan is done just for you. You simply tell us where your body is now and where you want it to end up, and just like a navigation system, you'll be shown exactly the road to take to reach your dream body.

Has anyone tried this, or do you think it is another 'fad' thing?

PLEASE....I thought we had the WLS to obtain a tool to help us MANAGE our weight problem! Fads are what most of us struggled with losing and regaining weight  time and time again all of our lives. I for one wanted off the merry-go-round so that I could get my health back and have a  healthy life that did not revolve around what I did or did not eat. After RNY, I have a tool that has finally offered me a way of being that gives me choices. If you are continuing to seek help through fads, are you really using your tool?  Just a thought...

Yes I'm using my tool. I'm eating healthy( most days getting in 75 to 100g protein and around 1300 calories), getting in my water, etc, BUT NO MATTER WHAT the 10 pounds i need to lose isnt coming off and it's been almost 2 months. I was more or less CURIOUS about this, not really seeking to try it, was just asking a question.

I so understand your distress, Melisss and that of all of us making our way on this WLS journey.  We all just do the best we can for the day and hope we can remain patient and steady in our resolve to make right choices to keep a normal weight. Since we are at or so near a normal weight, the going is SOOOOOOO  much slower than when we had the big numbers to lose so that it is really hard sometimes to keep up the healthy choices and slowly let the weight leave. Good luck with those 10 pounds!!!!  Tanya

A quick question: do you need to lose the 10 lbs or do you want to lose the 10lbs?

i am 5'4" and I weigh 145 lbs. wear size 6-8, S-M. And guess what ? no matter how much I may want - I do not have any more fat to lose. No more fat. I am only 18% fat so - that is in an athlete range. For my height - my average weight is 130 lbs - but if I ever get that low - it would mean that I lost muscles or bone mass and not "real fat"

Not sure if you did or is you did not have done body composition measurement.  You may find out that this is it. that you are mostly muscles, skin, water + essential body fat that no matter how hard you try - you may have a very difficult time to lose - and if you do - you may get sick.
just saying....

Do I need to lose 10 pounds, YES.  Do I want to lose 10 pounds, YES.  I'm not at my Dr's goal weight of 135, I know I can get there because I was there before. I've just had so much going on in my life since Dec. 08...My mom has been VERY sick, ALMOST died right before x-mas, and she is still having problems, that's when the 10 pounds crept up on me. So I know I can get there, but just don't know how anymore.  My body at 5 foot 3and in size 8/10 Jr's Xl tops 147 pounds looks FAT (I haven't had a TT and I'm not going to)  SO YES I need/ want to lose the 10 pounds.
