Couple things

This has been a good day so far. Had protein with strawberries, cottage cheese with protein chips and just now something yummy that I had not tried before.

chopped apple
plain yogurt
ariticial sweetener
vanilla
flax meal
cinnamon
mix all and kinda tastes like sour cream apple pie.

Also did some journaling and found a feeling that makes me eat. I left the gym this morning after 20 min. on elliptical and immediately wanted food. After writing for a while I discovered I feel so disconnected from the world, the cute front desk guy at the gym, anyone that was working out, thinking how getting thinner didn't bring me any closer to people so why do I bother. I realize that when I am eating well and exercising I become more open to people but right now I seem to have a fear of yet longing for connection. If that makes any sense... that was my ta da moment for the day. Hope ya'll are having a good weekend.

Oh that recipie sounds like a winner... I've got to try it. The flaxmeal in the cottage cheese is terrific!!! You've got me thinking peaches or maybe a little steele cut oats for an apple crisp version of your treat. You've got me thinking of all the ways to use that plain yogurt sitting in my refridgerator.
I can so relate to the feeling you share....why is it that we all yearn to be connected and meet expectations that we feel others have of us before we jump in with all that we have to offer. Do you have any plans of overcoming this feeling that you share? You always have such great ideas... I'd love to hear the plan you have come up with to work through moments like these. I'll look forward to your post.

It's wonderful that you are starting to get more in touch with the feelings behind your cravings, and the fact that you didn't give in to it is awesome!  Just know that you are not alone.  Btw, I agree, the treat does sound yummy!

Loving me...every day...for the rest of my life!
