I finally signed up again. I love the elliptical machine. Last spring I religiously did an hour every day for about a month and a half. Felt so good and was seeing results but I quit. So I am starting with 20 min. for a few days and working myself back up in 10 min. increments over the next few weeks. Food has not been so great. Start out good in the morning then start messing up in afternoon and especially night time. But I feel like as I have said before I am baby stepping in the right direction.

Don't know how it works for you, but I find when I take seriously one area (such as exercise) then other areas seem to fall into place (such as food)  Hope this works for you too.  I think it's great you're being wise and not putting yourself down because you can't do a whole hour right now.  Sometimes I have a problem with "If I can't do an hour, then there's no use in even doing any"  Again, making sense is NOT the minimum daily requirement for being a human being LOL

I have been working out faithfully since January and absolutely love it!  Usually 6 or 7 times a week.  I am almost 50 and I can't believe that it took me this long to figure out that exercising helps with weightloss!  Who knew?!!

LOL Deb...I just said last week that it took me 40 years to be truely convinced that the amount of food taken in and the energy expended have a direct correlation!!

I know what you mean about night time being so hard. I've been planning out in the morning what I will have during the day. I allow some extra calories for the night time so that if I really need to , I have a bowl of Kashi go lean with skim milk or some yogurt before bed. The later I put off my supper the better it is for me.  I have found my way back to exercise too. I have been walking in the morning with a neighbor and the dog and riding my bike after school with the kids.  My biggest challenge is the water and cutting back on the coffee.  Tracking my food on Fit Day really helps too.
It seems you are on the right track, keep on moving forward.
