Startef on the 5 day pouch test today with atkin liquids.walking buddy gets back into town today after being gone 6 weeks so i thought good time to start on those 10lbs,anyone wants to joing me.

I will join you because I have started the 5DPT today.  I did pretty good and although it is only 7pm eastern time I am ready to go to bed so I won't think about food.

Great,Misery loves company.How did you do today?I did well with atkins shakes,broth and jello no chewing I too am going to bed before i get tempted,hubby is snacking..I also walked 2 miles and swam.Gotta get the next 10lbs to go.

Yesterday I had a Special K protien shake for breakfast, then a cup of green tea.  For lunch I had a Nutralite strawberry protein shake, another cup of green tea.  For afternoon chocolate attack I had sugar free cocoa made with water.  For dinner it was another Special K protein drink with ice and fruit blended as a smoothie.  I got a bit shaky afte rdinner so according to the rules I had some melon.

Today is a repeat hopefully without the melon.  I can't wait to move on to soft protein.

I had a good day today day 2 but failed on the exercise.I am going to stay on liquids another day,due to plans for Thursday.How was your day?I find i am not as hungry tonight.

I did good yesterday, the headaches were a bit much but I got thru it.  I had a jello so it helped.  Today is day 3 and I look forward to the soft protein.  I have chicken salad with me for lunch.  This morning I had a protein smoothie (special K protein drink, strawberries, and ice) I have also packed a boiled egg and a pudding.  I did exercise this morning (that felt good) well lets see how the rest of the week goes.

I did well and decided to stay on liquids an xtra day starting soft protein in the morning.walked twice today.Mild headache yesterday so dranked small cup of regular coffee,carb craving seem less. good luck tomorrow.how did you do today?

Yesterday was weird.  I was okay while at work but had no dinner.  I ran out of can chicken and didn't have any tuna.  I didn't want a protein drink so I just went to bed (bad I know)

Well today is day 4, the carb craving has ceased nicely.  I had a protein drink for breakfast and two boiled eggs for snack.  I am still full so that is a good thing.  I will probably have a protein drink for lunch if not then I will see if the cafeteria has chicken salad.  So what do we do after the 5 days?  I guess I will just go back to my NUTS basics of eating.  Lean protein, then fruit and veggies, then complex carbs.  I have 40lbs to go.
