I know fresh fruit is better than canned fruits, but  what fruits are better than others? I love Granny Smith Apples and 1 medium has 17g sugars, but with it being natural sugars, that is ok, right?

Sugars = carbs, natural or processed. I'm not sure what info you're specifically looking for, but if its about health... sugar=carbs.... Natural sugar is less likely to make someone dump than processed sugars, fruit is good for a sweet need when candy will make ya dump. Apples are also full of vitamins and natural acids that aid in digestion, so as far as I'm concerned, an apple a day won't kill ya.

Thank Ya!
What about 2 Apples a day, hehehe. I will have over 300+ Apples on my Granny Smith Apple tree soon, and I love me some Apples. I love putting Peanut Butter on them as a treat, and that's a way I not only get in xtra protein, but also my fruit.  If I had to choose a fruit to eat to get my fruits in it would definately be the apples.

My neighbor has an apple tree so we trade her for crab apples off our tree every year. I love them with PB2. I think the natural suger is a good trade off for the vitamins and fiber you are also getting from the apple.
