That is an easy grab, or fix?  That is lower in calories, high protein, high in fiber. I will admit, I DO NOT cook (Hubby does) so therefore I like things that are quick to eat , while I'm home (at home mom)  PLEASE share any ideas, meals that are your favorites and an easy grab/fix.

I will admit, I usually eat All Bran Strawberry Medley in the a.m. (170 cals,5g protein,10g fiber, 10g sugar, 1.5g fat and 34 net carbs)  I eat this because of the fiber and I have been impacted a few weeks ago and DO NOT wanna get that way again.  IF I could find a good cereal with lower carbs, high protein and fiber( NO Kashi GO LEAN, it taste like eating twigs and straw) I would eat that.

I'm just at a loss on finding the right combination with lower calories, carbs, but high in protein and fiber. I guess that would be called "A MIRACLE MEAL" that doesn't exist.  Any input is appreciated

Melissa, I don't eat a lot of fiber, but I do drink a lot of Protein drinks which can can impact, so I take 3 stool softners, they are small gel caps and two fiber con tablets a day.  I purchase most of my stuff at Walmart which keeps in on the low price side.
Trust me it really helps.

Until recently, I didn't get a lot of fiber either, that's why I got impacted  and trust me, it does not feel good at all. I've been drinking 1 EAS protein shake a day, I think I'm going to up it to 2, I try to get my things from wal-mart as well. I have stool softeners here, but I may get the fiber con tomorrow so  I don't have to constantly try to get so much in by foods......My main thing is getting my protein in, as long as I can get my bowels to stay where they are.

Genie, I bought me some Fiber Con today, I'm going to start taking them so I don't have to try and eat so much fiber.

WOW I didn't even think of the Slimfast Low Carb, What flavor do you like best? I have been buying the EAS AdvantEdge Carb Control shakes (Chocolate Fudge)  110 Cal, 17 protein, and 4 carbs an they are AWESOME.

I tried something yesterday you may think is gross, but It was scambled eggs with tuna & cheese and omg, it was great.  It had 20g protein in it. Now What is our favorite, " Ive got the munchies" snack food

Oh and I just saw your stats, we are about the same height (I'm 5'3" and I'm 146 now)
Looking forward to hearing from you again.

Wasa crisp breads with light laughing cow cheese is delish. (Blame Happy Lapbander)....

Do you take a fiber suppliment? I take fiber choice, which I love, I think it tastes like cotton candy. Adds 4g of non-solulable fiber with each serving, no more than 3 servings a day. Its not a meal, but it'll help with your fiber needs and allows for more variety with your other food options for the day.

They're in the cracker isle at your local grocer, normally. They're kinda thick pieces of bread, toasted to cracker crispness. They come in a white wax paper package with a sticker label on them. http://us.wasa.com/Pages/Wasa-HomePage.aspx They're tastey and full of fiber.
