I sure wouldn't eat it everyday but as an occassional treat it is fair.  it is an awful lot of calories for something you can munch down.  Try the South Beach bars they have a way better ratio.

Thank you, also thought about the South Beach bars, but after looking at them, the calories are not much lower, and carbs would still be 19 net carbs.

The Chocolate Peanut Butter Chrispy Meal Bar:

Calories- 210
Fat-7g
Total Carbs-25g
Fiber- 6g
Sugar-1g
Protein-19g

I need the higher protein, and fiber, but the carbs are  still considered high isn't it?

I guess I was tinking of the snack bars but without the labels in front of me it is hard to compare.  I know I have looked at the EAS bars before but can't exactally remember it all.  Next time I go to Walmart I will check it out!

I agree. its alot of calories for something you can munch down relatively easily, and not be full.

EAS makes some great products and some not so great products for us post-ops. Their Carb Control Myoplex shakes ROCK... fab protein count, only 150 calories, and like 4 non-soluable carbs in a whole 16 oz shake. And its got a decent flavor, something like slimfast but not as.... doesn't leave a film on your mouth.  Give it a shot.

Sionnaingeal,

YOU ROCK!!  I looked at the EAS Myoplex Carb Crontrol shakes and I'm amazed. I will definately go from the regular carb control (110 cals, 17g protein, 4g carbs) to the Myoplex ( 150 cals, 25g protein, and 5g carbs)  I'm going to Wal-mart tomorrow to load up, THANK YOU
