Day 2 - how are you doing
I am new to your group so forgive my ignorance but what are you on day 2 of?
Is this the "pouch test?' How does it work and why do you do it?
As for me, I am really down as I have let my weight creep up by over 10 pounds in the last two months. I have had some Family issues that have caused me to seek solace in the old "grain bin"-carbs and sweets.
I am on day two of getting real with myself. I thought that I would never have to diet again after RNY in Oct of 2006 but here I am.
How can I feel better about myself? Any suggestions on taking this 12 pounds back off?
Thanks,
Mary

Hi Mary,
Sorry it took me so long to get back to you I'm not on here much. Yes it is the pouch test here is the link to read up on it. http://www.5daypouchtest.com/plan/theplan.html
Today is my 8th anniv of surgery.
I had a baby 2 years ago & have not lost any of the baby weight this week I have finally gotten to where I can't stand what I look/feel like so I wanted to kick start a "diet" with the 5 day. You basicly go back to eating like you did when you first had surgery. First 2 days are liquids next 2 days are soft protiens & then on to reg. protiens. I weighed yesterday morning & I had lost 4 lbs from Mon-Wed I know it is jus****er but it has gotten me into the mind set that I can do this.
Good Luck to you ~ Cindi
