Back On Track Together
United Airlines
Does anyone out there know anything about the possibility that United Airlines may start charging overweight passengers for an extra ticket because they take up two seats. Could not find much about it on a post on the General Board. How discriminatory!!!!! and insulting!!!! BOO HISS
Say it isn't so! This day and age we don't have a lot of choices when it comes to what airline we use to reach our destination - but I can tell you this, when/if I have a choice you can bet it isn't going to be United!!!!!!!!!!!

And this is not the first airline to do this. Discrimination at it's worst. Look out tall people, they're next! Does this mean that a person weighing less than 100 pounds and only using half a seat gets their seat at half price?
And who determines who is overweight and who is not. Maybe they can use the BMI number. Then every other person would be overweight and have to buy an extra seat. Of course this has nothing to do with the airline industry setting seat widths six inches inside a normals person's behind. UA will never get my business.

Thanks Big Ed:
Seems to me it's clearly a case of heads they win, tails we lose. And they will spend hours in their board rooms trying to figure out how they can beat the downturn in the economy and lure passengers onto their planes.
GOOD BYE greedy airlines who insist on blaming the victims!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
