Hi BOTTers,

Does anyone journal?  I don't know why but I've never enjoyed journaling.  I am a better typer than writer so a couple of years ago I purchased a software program for my computer.  It is a great program (Life Journal) but for some reason I've resisted journaling.  I thought with it being on my computer and I'm on my computer all the time except when I'm sleeping (!) that I would do it.  So I'm using it today and going to continue to journal every day.  I'm not sure the reason for the resistance but I'm pushing past it and going to journal.

Here's my check-in:

CARDIO:  Wii Fit, Step for a few minutes to avoid coughing fits!

FOOD:

B - 2 scrambled eggs and vegetables cooked with eggs
L - Turkey sandwich with high fiber bread
S - Cinnamon Toast Pretzels
D - Fish with vegetables
S - Power Crunch bar

Have a terrific Tuesday!!

Cathy

I'm happy to report that once I changed my thinking, yesterday was an easy BOTT day.   Ate right and exercised.  It really is true that I can have a great day unless I have other plans.  Yesterday morning I had other plans (a pity party with refreshments) then I changed my plans and had a great day.  Today I'm planning on a great day (I can feel my pity party plans knocking on the door of my mind, but I'm refusing to open the door)

Journaling is fun when I'm on trips and things, but I see no reason to journal my every day life when nothing outrageous is generally happening. I find when I want to remember things, I journal. When its an average day in my average life, there's no need. I journal my food intake, hehe. But that's about it. Good luck journaling, Cathy.

I NEED FIBER! And while benfiber seems like a cop-out to me (full of carbs and not sure how gross it'll taste), I want to rather incorperate the right foods into my new lifestyle to help keep things moving and... er... solid. Cuz while I'm having no trouble with constipation, I'm having alot of trouble with very very watery-ness. (sorry if tmi)... So today I bought the steam in bag broccoli and will try to snack on it all day with my normal meals.

Cardio - Eliptical "uphill" 15 mins, 1.3 miles at 6 mph. What a work out!

B - Coffee
S - Broccoli
L - Turkey
S - Broccoli n cheese
D - Meat and taco sauce
S - Probably the same

I have always struggled trying to be faithful to a journal.  I journal faithfully when I'm on a mission trip but my WLS journal gets about three or four entries a month.  I do better with my quiet time journal.  I write in it about 4 or 5 times a week.

I struggled yesterday with my carb intake so I'm trying to get back to it today.

Cardio - Hour on the elliptical

Food:

B - One Egg Ham Omlette
S - Protein Shake
L - Dijon Chicken
S - 1/2 Apple
D - Venison Burger Steak
S - String Cheese

Have a blessed day!

Ed

Here's my check-in for today:

Cardio:
I just finished the 2 Miles Walk Away the Pounds DVD with stretchie band

S- Some Sun Chips (while riding back home on the ferry)

L-  Honey turkey, ham sandwich with cheese, mayo....ate the insides and one piece of the bread.

O.K.  Today was a total carb day with little protein, but it is over....and tomorrow I shall start anew!

I hope everyone is having a terrific Tuesday!

Loving me...every day...for the rest of my life!
