Hi BOTTers,

I hope everyone had a nice holiday weekend.  Kids are funny.  I have two sons that are 13 and 10 yet not too old for Easter baskets.  They were as excited to wake up to their baskets as they were when they were 6 and 3.  Some things you're just never too old for!

Here's my check-in:

CARDIO:  If I can breathe and do it without having coughing fits, Wii Fit, Step games.

FOOD:

B - Chicken & vegetable soup
S - Chicken & vegetable soup
L - Spinach salad with Italian dressing and 1/2 feta cheese
S - Cinnamon Toast Pretzels
D - Fish, blueberry yogurt
S - Power Crunch bar

Have a marvelous Monday as we BOTT.

Cathy

I still love getting easter baskets! My mom still gives me "easter bunny gifts" every Easter morning... This year it was Russel Stover SF Caramel bites, like sugar babies. mmmmm She knows my love for caramel!!

SO on a down note I like I'm sure many others fell off the wagon yesterday. I was doing great till SOMEONE poured me a wine (evil wonderful brother of mine). MY BANE! I love wine, and it was a nice medium sweet reisling, perfect for ham and a light dessert. They bought it especially for me of course. So I simply had to have some.  Dinner was ham and asparagus, and wine. Dessert was SF Trifle my mummy made and some more wine. I tried to make sure I plowed tons of water afterwards to wash most of it out of my system. I think I must have done a decent job because while only just barely, I'm still in ketosis. On a PLUS note, I didn't overindulge and kept my general and carb intakes at a minimum to make up for the wine. I also made some splendid SF, GUILT FREE desserts, including my famous Guilt Free Cheese Cake (Chocolate chip cookie crusted chocolate chip cheese cake, FF, SF, Gluten Free, Low Cal!) and a new one for me, ala Eggface, yummy cream cheese cookies with SF jelly fillings. They were a hit! and so darned easy.

Oh yeah, while I did fall off the wagon, I stayed steady on the scale! Musta done something right, I guess.

So its BACK ON TRACK TODAY!

I'm taking the time this morning to make Eggy's famous bites, western style which makes em low carb. (cheese, pepper, onion, egg, ham and a bit of cayane pepper....mmmm) Those should make great pop-em snacks for the week, if not breakfast as well.

So here goes.

B - Western bites
S - Turkey Breast
L - Turkey Breast or something from the caff.
S - Bites
D - Kielbasa or ground beef and taco sauce.

Lets do this THANG.

I thought I'd join you all in the cafe!  I some how stayed on the wagon yesterday mainly by staying away from the children's ministry events.  That kept me from snitching stuff out of the kid's baskets!

Cardio - 1/2 of elliptical, 1/2 hour on treadmill

Food:

B - Turkey Sausge Scramble
S - Protein Shake
L - Cajun Bean Soup
S - Laughing Cow Cheese
D - Chicken Breat and Broccoli
S - Protein Drink

Have a blessed day!

It's a 15 bean soup mix I picked up at Krogers.  120 calories per serving.  I add andouille sausage to the mix which add another 60 calories per serving.  Sorry I don't have the brand name.

I've had two weeks of Easter candy hell (not just limited to Easter candy though)  Haven't eaten right and haven't exercised at all (except to climb to the 7th floor 4 days when the elevator motor was burned out).  I'm fighting to get back on track today - am struggling - but I will make it!

Thanks for caring.  Just read Marilyn's post about all she has been going through and decided it was time I quit being such a wimp and stopped serving refreshments at my pity party and got back on track RIGHT NOW!  So guzzled some Crystal Lite and DID NOT go downstairs to the vending maching for peanuts (and goodness knows what else).  So far so good!  Now for the next compliant 5 minutes  .
