Enlarged Stoma/stomaphyx?

Not that I think I have this problem but I may, who knows. I haven't been in contact with my surgeon in eons because I have since moved quite far away from him. Not sure who I'd call or ask now. Meanwhile, is there a way to test (Outside endoscopy) if your stoma is enlarged or dialated? Anyone have details on what and how a stomaphyx is/works? Curiosity is the reason. I do get the full feeling of a pouch working correctly... but it never hurts to have information.

Just don't do it the way I did...sick as a dog and 2 surgeries!  I did get to see my stomach and trust me I will be paying for it for awhile$$$$
I do think that the 5 DPT gave me a good judge of how my pouch was doing.  Also the cottage cheese test, which I cant recall right now but I know you can search it on this site.

The docs at Ohio State University Hospital are helping pioneer Stomaphyx.  I know it doesn't require any incisions; they use an endoscope down the throat.  I saw a post somewhere in which a guy had it done and he said it left him with a minor sore throat, but he was able to go back to work that day.  The procedure was done right in the surgeon's office, not an OR.
