Hi BOTTers,
Ugh. I am really sick. I'm on antibiotics so I'm waiting for them to kick in. I'm not sure if my head is going to implode or my ears are going to explode first. So far, nothing. I've always had a tendency to get really sick from a cold. I go from fine to awful within a day or two. I never figured out why until recently.
I hope this isn't tmi (too much info)! I have teeny tiny and short nasal passages so I get bad sinus infections easily when I'm sick with a cold. Okay, doc, what can we do? Sinus surgery that has less than a 40% chance of making a difference. Plus, it is very, very, very painful. No thanks! The doctor confirmed it when he told me that he wouldn't do it if he were me either. So, the choice is to hang out when I get sick, get on meds and wait it out. Hey, us BOTTs share whatever is going on with each other. Thanks for reading!

B - Morningstar Soy Sausages (4)
L - Spinach salad with feta cheese and spray Italian dressing
S - Cinnamon Toast Pretzels
D - Fish
S - Power Crunch bars

So sorry that you're sick again. It's a nasty virus that keeps going around. Lots of rest and fluids!
I have decided to add some "liquid" meals to my routine, hopefully it will help me feel more energetic. I swear that I am the only one at the health club power walking on the treadmill at a 5 incline and YAWNING! My meals for today:
Breakfast - protein drink
Snack - fage w/protein added
Lunch - chili w/cheese
Snack - click
Dinner - steak w/veggies
Snack - protein drink

Blegh. Sick stinks! I hope you feel better soon. Rest up. Looks like your appetite is fading too.
No gym again for me today, but I've been keeping busy prepping up for my big weekend. There'll be plenty of calorie burning then so I'm not too worried about it. I also hope it'll jumpstart me losing!! They feed us high protein high calorie food, but I'll skip the side dishes (cheezy taters, etc) and stick to the protein and lots of water. Ought to be the ticket. Meanwhile I'm resting up, packing and putting together costumes. (You shoulda seen the make-up I had on last night! WOO!)
Food for the day -
B - Protein Shake
S - Likely left over stuffed pepper
L - Lean cuisine OR beef stew if the caff has any left
S - string cheese
D - Stir fry veggies with chicken

Sorry to hear you are not feeling any better Cathy, I hope it turns around soon. Going to sign up at the gym with my daughters today so we can have a daily workout date over lunch.
Exercise: 30 Minutes of elliptical

B-Low carb tortilla w/Egg Beaters, bacon bits & Weigh****chers cheese
S-Hard boiled egg & light string cheese
L-Turkey chili
S-Protein Bar
D-Chicken Alfredo minus the pasta & romaine salad
S-Maybe SF popsicle, depends on my mood
100+ oz of water & vitamins.
