Hey BOTTs

It's a rainy Tuesday here.....no problem as these showers will bring spring here and I love it when all things dead and brown come alive with color and green grass again

I think it's time to mix it up a bit and I am really lovin the workout where you pick several exercises and do several sets with out stopping.  It's a great way to get your cardio in.  I am doing some back and shoulder work but not sure what...  Sometimes I just mix it up when I get there.

So BOTTs, Did You Move To Lose and or Maintain Today?  Come on in and be accountable   Your moving is just as important as what you eat.  Pre-ops, Newbies and Veterans are all welcome    Posting your exercise is a way to share with others and take a bow for what you did.  And if you have not worked out yet, it helps you be accountable to do so before the day is out

Let's get MOVIN

81 DAYS BEFORE SUMMER

Take care,
Kathy

Yesterday and today I went to the YMCA . They have Moderate Water Aerobic classes in the Instructional Pool which I like because there's steps. The Main Pool also has a couple of Water Aerobic classes but I can't use the ladder because of Peripheral Neuropathy in my right foot, I hadn't been to the YMCA since December. I know long overdue but am trying to get myself organized to go. I was late both days but good thing there's always more than one class. That way I am at least on time to enjoy an hr's worth of water aerobics in the pool. I don't like to be late, but not being able to drive does have it's drawbacks, but the point is I went 2 days in a row. I'm in a bit of a funky mood right now though. After class I went to change and shower and the seat kept falling down on my legs so my Mom said sit on it and shower. So without thinking of whether it could hold my weight I sat down on the bench and it crashed to the floor along with me still on it. I hate falling - one of my biggest fears because in the past - pre op life I've been in situations where I've fallen or sat too long on the toilet that I didn't have enough energy to pick myself back up and being as heavy as I was no one else could help me up either. Ususally resulted in a 911 call and the local fire depatment would come out to assist me. I always felt so embarrassed and awful that they had to help me up. Today's fall is just another reminder to me of how my weight affects my life. The fall hurt alot, but I'm okay except for some nice big bruises on my legs. I notice I tend to bruise fairly easy when I fall. Kinda looks like I got beat up. So I'm in a funky sorta mood (moody) and hope I feel better posting that at least for the last 2 days I DID exercise! That part makes me feel good. Hey anyone else feel get hungry and tired after exercising? God, knows I do. Well now I'm gonna go upstairs and make some rosary bead bracelets. Hope you all are well. Take Care.

Hello Marilyn,

You are my inspiration    It takes some kinda guts to over come all the fears we have from trying to move and exist in a small world....just sitting, walking, going through doors are a challenge and a reminder of how the rest of the world views us.

But...you have the heart of the Lion and taking steps to make a difference in your life    The way you turned the event from today around to a positive is fearsome!!!!!!  You could have said OMG I am not going out of the house again...instead you said ok, this is why I am doing this, to make sure it won't happen again.

I am here to help you in anyway I can    You keep going girl and you will continue to lose and get smaller and smaller    As you do you will be able to move and do more.  If you have not done so make a wish list of all the things  you are going to do when you lose the weight...   You WILL DO THEM

I hope to see you here daily, so I can cheer you on

Take care,
Kathy

Hi Marilyn,

I hope you're feeling better today and your bruises are lessening.

I love your outlook.  You are an inspiration.  Despite your fear of falling and the situations with your weight, you are looking on the bright side and haven't allowed them to stop you.

Thank you for being with us BOTTing.

Cathy
