Who has one and what is your favorite thing?

I just got in a few weeks ago and finally made it on it a couple pays ago.  My 10 yo daughter is my "trainer" and has helped me figure it out.  Just wondering what everyone else thinks about it.

Hi Jen,

I hope you get a lot of responses as I have been wanting one but just can't bring myself to pay the price until I am sure it's something I will use.

Now I know I will love Guitar Hero     Guess I will have to be jumping on the stage to get any excercise

Take care,
Kathy

Jen - I absolutely love my WiiFit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   I've had it about a month now and I have fun using it.  I never thought I'd put "fun" and "exercise" in the same sentence without a NOT.  It keeps me entrained and I don't get bored.  The moves in each category (at lease the ones I do - I don't get on the floor and my balance isn't good enough for most of the yoga exercises) are basically the same but the little cartoon situations are different.  There are several little motivational gimmicks that help too.  One thing it does I really like is compute my BMI (as well as weight)  Somehow I don't have as much "head garbage" with BMI as I do with weight.  Hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine.

Hi Jen,

I like my Wii Fit a lot.  My favorite game is the Advanced Step and Free Step.  I have a friend that has unlocked boxing but I haven't so far.  The boxing game sounds like lots of fun so I may experiment with some other games to find it.  So far, the Step is my favorite.

My younger son loves soccer so he likes the soccer ball throw.  I get a concussion each time I play it because the shoes bonk me in the head.

I enjoy playing it with my sons because we try to beat each other's scores.

I really love mine to do myself and with my sons.

Let me know what you end up enjoying the most.  I love to hear about what people like to play.

I like it for a more fun workout but I don't lose many calories with it at all. I could do an hour and only lose 250 calories. Someone recommended My Fitness Coach to me, said it doesn't take the Wii Fit, but does work on the Wii. I got it and it is a GREAT workout! I lose about 100 calories per 10 minutes on that. It is like a workout video but customized to your pace and it is different each time. I would consider getting that instead of the Wii Fit if you already have the Wii! :)

Where can I get My Fitness Coach?  I'm not sure I'm up to moving that fast but I'd like to look into it.  Does it keep you entertained like WiiFit?  That's one of the things I like about it (Takes so little to entertain me LOL) - I don't get bored.  But I think I could surely keep from getting bored in only 10 minutes.

Yesterday I went thru all the yoga (unlocked 2 new ones) and all the strength training (unlocked 2 also) and I gotta say that my thighs are sore today.  Must have been those lunges!!
Jillian Michaels has a trainer for the Wii also.

I have the Wii Fit and I use it most days.  I do the Yoga, strength training and sometimes the Advanced Step.  I've unlocked everything.  I don't do the balance games because I don't feel like they "do" anything for me.  But the Yoga and Strength Training definately give me a workout.  It is quite varied and you don't do one activity for a long time.  I also like that it measures weight and BMI and keeps a chart.  You can also log your other activity in the Activity Log.  I log my elliptical minutes into it.
