I came up with what I thought was a great idea today - don't know if it's something I've read about on the boards, in OH magazine or if it's really an original idea, but it's something that might be a big help to me. I'm going to create a "toolbox" - this will be the place where I keep my OH magazines, my 5day Pouch test book, favorite WLS recipes, reminder and motivational notes from myself, etc. After 4+ years post surgery, I have been forgetting the TOOL that the surgery provided me with. I have found lots of ways to defeat the TOOL and need to be reminded daily that I have re-plumbed my digestive system and should take advantage of the benefits of this instead or working around it. - Anyway, I'm on day 2 of the 5day PT and feel re-motivated and excited about the journey again - I need to keep this feeling - maybe the "toolbox" along with this discussion board and a daily food journal will get me there again

What a great idea!  I have a notebook with a list of things that work well for me and a list of triggers that send me in the wrong direction.  Putting that in a box with other good info would be a super idea...Thanks!!
