Back On Track Together
Friday Reflections
Here we are at Friday so it is time for Friday Reflections.
I get to write for OH Magazine and it is such a thrill. I've been a subscriber ever since the first issue all those years ago. I was an OH member and never, ever, ever would I have believed that I would be writing for the Magazine. The Magazine has been a tremendous source of inspiration, motivation, resource of information and education. I've referred to them many times throughout the years.
My favorite is the regular feature of "Mind Matters" which is such an honor for me to write. As all of you know me by now, this journey is so much more than about the food. It is about creating habits that serve us to maintain our weight and stay on track. A past article I wrote was about nurturing ourselves and another was about the practicing of saying "no."
So, for this issue, I decided to write about Back On Track which, obviously, is a topic that is very near and dear to my heart. As all of us have BOTTed, I have also come to understand that BOTT is more than a wls process. It is getting and staying back on track with any aspiration or goal we have. If we have a goal to declutter our house, we start on a drawer or a closet and work our way through the house. We may get into it with a couple of drawers or maybe even a closet and then give it up. If our ultimate goal is to declutter our home, it is just as important to stay on track with that important goal as well.
My goal of BOTTing is very important to me in my wls journey. I've also come to apply it to other parts of my life as well. Thanks to all of you as BOTTers and this special group we've created together, I'm BOTTing in all areas of my life.
Have a fabulous Friday, weekend and week.
Take care, Cathy
