i was supposed to post on thursday but things have been hectic in my life...Im proud to say I lost 5 lbs this week!!! Yeah! i did the 5 day pouch test but it was more like 4 and applied the rules of not drinking while eating etc. and it seems to have help tramendously. after the test the one day my daughters wanted some of the store bought macaroni salad from the deli and when i was serving it to them i had a couple bites and boy i tell you i havent felt like that in a long time the awful cramps etc that i used to feel right after surgery if i ate something wrong. i had to take a nap to sleep off the awful feeling. so i guess the test did work for me. it seems you get accustomed to letting these foods slide back into your life. so i am much more aware of what i am putting into my mouth. I am trying to eat at regualr intervals...etc. the only downfall i have to say is I am a nurse and i work night shift and i get the munchies....and of course its for the bad stuff so i will have to work through that. I also joined a local gym this week. i had one session with a pt that was free and that really kicked my butt and limpin around now. its a good feeling though although i cant afford the pt on a reg basis. i plan to make the most out of my membership...i just need to plan plan plan. hoplefully by mondaymorning after work i wont be so sore from this workout i can do the cycle class i plan on attending.....well thanks for listening and see you all on thursday if not sooner
