Back On Track Together
Got to see my stomach 4 years post op
After 4 years post op I wondered (like I am sure many of us do) "Have I stretched my stomach back? How does my stomach look? Is it still the size of an egg?"
So when I had my Upper GI I got to see my pouch right on the screen. It was really interesting to see it and see how it looks the way it is suppose too. I really have no food intolerances and can generally eat just about anything so I figured it must have streched back out. But it hadn't and it looked just like it should.
So I guess on the bright side of my emergency surgeries I got to see my pouch and I lost 5lbs!

That is kind of cool that you got to see it. I wonder the same thing. I also am curious that if it has stretched, and I still have the original stomach in there, does that mean I have like two times the stomach in there, making matter worse? I know, silly thoughts, but still
Well, I hope you feel better and the 5 pounds is a up side...

I wondered the same thing until I had mine done in February because I am the same as you EXCEPT I've gained weight back and a lot bigger ... I have no food intolerances, just picky and choosy about what I will eat. I thought for sure my stomache must be the size of a couple of footballs in there, but no it's the same as they expected it to see. Congratuations on the 5lb weight loss that's an extra added blessing
