Spring's my very favorite time of the year.  I think it is so beautiful with everything beginning to bloom.  I know some people prefer fall, but to me it is just a case of Mother Nature playing a dirty trick - trying to make us forget winter is coming LOL

Finally figured something out this morning - what I've been doing is practicing maintenance these past few weeks - losing, eating more and gaining (always less than 3 pounds) then eating less again.  The only problem is that I'm doing it 5-10 pounds before I'm at the weight I want to maintain.  But what seeing it this way has done is to allow me to let myself off the hook of feeling I'm a failure because I sometimes eat more and gain.   Now I can either accept that I will maintain at this weight or choose to go down to my desired weight and then maintain.  One good thing is that I have learned that I CAN maintain.  Basically, Cathy, I've been practicing the 80/20 plan without realizing it.

Yesterday I had a 100% BOTT food and exercise day.  I commit to a 100%BOTT food day today, but tonight is my support group so will not have time to exercise.

Peace and Joy to you all

I'd say shoveling snow is a bit much for burning calories LOL

That's incredible - 75 degrees to 2 feet of snow

Heard on TWC this morning that somewhere there is a 2nd storm coming in - is that where you are?  Hope not!!!!!

Be careful on those snowy roads (I'm a devout coward when it come to winter roads - one of my big motivators for moving to Florida)  - now that's a silly thing to say - like you're going to go out in 2 feet of snow and go wild

I guess what I want to say is - have the best day possible

Yep, we are due to get hit with more snow tomorrow night/Thursday and another round on Sunday according to the weather man. CNN was showing footage in my city of the storm this morning. My son had the best time with the dogs playing in it yesterday and we are already planning on skiing this weekend.

Someday I will move south since I have always preferred warm weather to cold.

Thanks for the kind words, we always try to make the best of it.

Good grief!  I suppose there was a time when I was a kid that I thought snow was fun (I'm from Indiana), but that was so long ago I sure don't remember it!

No gym for me this morning. This trying to buy a house thing is killing meeeee.

So I tried doing something different this morning and making breakfast rather than just having a shake, so I cooked some eggs. I got mostly through the first one when I found a piece of black plastic as I was chewing... I realized it was a bit of spatula!  I was so turned off and grossed out by it! I was trying so hard to get a new routine started and that happened. Bleh. Anyways, I'm feeling really off today, one of those wierd days when you're mad at the world for no good reason. I'm sure it'll get better once I get some news.

B - 1 egg (and some spatula... anyone know the caloric quantities there?)
S - Samosa
L - Grilled chicken and veggies on a tomato wrap
S - Protein shake
D - Kielbasa and salad

I hear you!  I hate "Wait & See"  No way we can have some of the good stuff without spending some time in W & S  - but I've never learned to handle it with style and grace.    I'm proud of you for not eating your head off under the cir****tances.

Thanks for the encouragment. hehe, I may not be eating my head off but I am eating my kitchen utensils....Is this a sign of what one does under massive stress?

I's say gnawing on one's kitchen utensils would do just fine for an indicator of MASSIVE stress!    Hang in there, my friend, the day WILL come when you find out!!!!
