Back On Track Together
Newbie Here
Good morning everyone. My name is Denise and it's been almost 3 years since my RNY. I was a very slow loser and lost a total of about 112lbs. Just a couple of weeks ago, I noticed that the weight is starting to rear it's ugly head again. It seems as if I gained 12lbs in one week.
I've had this craving for candy....ALOT! I was constantly at the store buying Swedish fish and jellybeans and ate all of them. So I know exactly what the problem is and I could really use your support. I started lurking around this group last week and got alot of great advice and inspiration. YOU GUYS ROCK!!! I've taken the "back to the basics" approach that many of you talk about and I'm already 5lbs down in just 5 days!!!!
Thanks for adding me to the group and I look forward to staying.... BOTT
You are in the right place for support and encouragement. Everyone here is so supportive of one another. Please make yourself right at home and feel free to post as much as you want to or need to post. I look forward to reading more of your posts, and congrats on the awesome weight loss!
Loving me...every day...for the rest of my life!
So glad you posted. You should be so proud of yourself for catching yourself so quickly and getting back on track! If you just stick to your rules (protein first, yadda-yadda) and get some exercise in, you'll be fine. It took me a looooong time to get to this point and now I have such a long journey ahead of me.... you are so strong to get here before it got out of control. Welcome to the group.

WE CAN DO THIS TOGETHER - YES WE CAN
Good for you - be kind, gentle and firm with yourself - that's the most effective way to get to where we are going.
Thanks - I'm happy to report that I had a 100% BOTT day yesterday and it was pretty easy - a tiny bit head-hungry at bedtime, but went to bed without eating any more and slept "like a log" (I'm not quite sure how/if a log sleeps LOL)
Today will be easier yet
Peace and joy to you
